Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?
You are not logged in.
more important is post rate
Post count pretty much does nothing as to whether you get picked as a moderator or not. Yeah, if you have 2 posts then you're highly unlikely to get picked, however, having 2000 posts won't make you any better than someone who has just 500 posts.

^exactly!
and who knows, all 2,000 posts could be from the forum games, the un-helpful section

Yep, the posts in the forum games section shouldn't count.

But you can't exactly keep track of who posts how much and where.
Obligatory piece of text placed here forcing you to load an extra 100 bytes of data per post I make.

I actually have experience as a mod! But, I highly doubt people will vote for me.
More posts = more topics that they've seen = more rule breaks they've seen.

Post count has a very minor impact on someone's consideration for modship.
I wasn't suggesting that I should be mod because I have more posts. Didn't mean it that way at all. :/

Nobody said you were, but this post suggests you would've liked it to be true.
I will never be a mod nobody like me.

No, I wouldn't. If it were solely based on post count there would be a lot of bad mods. And it doesn't matter if you have 2000 or 200, a mod is a mod. [insert speech here]
I will never be a mod nobody like me.
That can always change

^ All of that is very true. But everyone keeps saying: "I'll never be a mod!" or "No one likes me!" or "I don't have enough posts!" It can happen.
I will never be a mod nobody like me.
Don't be so hard on yourself. I like you.
Well, I'm still pretty new so no one really knows me. I'm still happy to do small things!
