Did we just skip Christmas?

Hi, well, I was logged on to beta and in the beta announcements it said this (bold text = error):

December 30 2010
It's December so it's snowing!
All beta members now have a special beta only private room
so what I don't get is: How are we on december 30th?!?!?!?!

Danish people are a little bit strange, just as the canadians across the pond, but danes are vikings instead of french-speaking-syrup-lickin-guys.
