Dude. Ask your parents or someone you know to get it back for you. Just give them 1 dollasr to do it so they wont just be wasting there time to do it. I got chat from another player(killstreak(he's awesome)) and I try my best not to say bad things( but I do get angry some times but I try to control myself) Anyway just deal with it. Life's alot of hard work so just be glad that even some of this game is free. Chris works hard to make this game as best as he can and complaining is only making it worse. Have you tried to make something like this with flash? HU? WELL IT IS NOT EASY! Stop complaining :O

That seems to defeat the purpose of chat access verification. These tinychat.com links in levels also allow people to chat together. Maybe it should be the other way around: if parents want to block the chat, they can send $0.01? I have no credit card and I don't want to use PayPal, so I think I'll contact player killstreak (who apparently is "awesome" ). Since everyone now has usernames, maybe those who can't chat should have a small "x" next to their smilies or username? Now people think I'm being rude, but I can't see what they tell me, nor can I reply...

EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...

I agree, 1 cent is stupid, even if you easily have the ability to dish out debit or credit card details. I think a lot of people will agree when I say that I don't think it's secure at all to go handing out bank details (and yes, I'm expecting people to feedback saying otherwise, but it still seems untrustworthy), especially through a system like this (have you seen the gem earning sites that EE works with? Atrocious pyramid-scheme spamming cyberhell!)
I don't think it's at all necessary for this 1 cent needing to be paid for chat use; surely email verification can do the job; most under 13s (especially younger ones) won't have an email address to verify with.
I think this feature should be scrapped immediately.

You guys, the point isn't for Chris to make money/scam you(he's using paypal FFS), it's just to verify you're an adult.

That said, the system flawed, but you must first understand something to work out a solution to it.

Dude I am 14 and my parents already had aprovved of me using chat they just didn't want to have to spend ANY more money on game of any sort. I will try my hardest to use the chat responsibly.:)

Speaking of chat, I verified mine just about 15 minutes ago, however when I try to send my message nothing happens.

You're probably trying to chat in the code box. Press t to open the chat window.

Same thing, the message box shows up for me to type and say, but when I hit enter to click say nothing happens.

my only guess is that it my be the browser I am using.

Nope Internet explorer does the same thing.
