Chat system doesn't seem to be working.

So after logging in this morning I saw that user names and chat was available for registered accounts, and that I could use chat by paying a penny, after doing this the chat system appeared in game, and I could chat to other players, except not so much. You see when I hit enter, or click say after I have typed out my message, the message never shows up, I tried emptying my cookies, restarting my computer, and trying other internet browsers, nothing works. Can any one help?

Oh. You need to hit say or t BEFORE you type out your message in order to open the chat box. You're typing your message in the code entry box.

But I'm not typing it in the code entry box, I'm typing in the in the chat bar, and the chat bar doesn't send any messages.

Hmm...

Is your message disappearing when you press enter or just not going through at all? Are you using any sort of FlashBlock, NoScript, Ad-Block or things of that nature? Be sure to keep focus on the chat window. If you open it and then click somewhere else on the screen, your message won't go through. Other than that...I dunno.

It doesn't go through at all, to my knowledge I never installed any kind of flash or adblock on my computer, so I don't know what else could be the problem.

I'm having this problem too. I type something, and it doesn't appear as a chat bubble.

You're all non-beta right? There's been like three posts on the forums about this issue from non-betas in the last couple hours. Probably a bug then where non-betas can't chat even if they've activated it. Either buy beta or wait for Chris to fix it I guess...

Yeah, my guess is that there was something Chris didn't test out or something, and he's gotta fix it. It's annoying though, cause I was like "FINALLY!" when I saw that you could finally buy the chat.

Really sucks. :/
