Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

@doh
I actually kind of like minis that just have a bunch of random blocks. Just as long as it's not overused. Same with the wall jumps.

one thing that is good to put in a level is a boss.
Great!
I made a world on what not to do, the I found this topic:

Beta
Non-Beta
Give it a play and see how annoying it is, unlike many noob worlds this is possible.
I tried to do what a noob would do, includes smilies, magic genorator, boss [off] & everything chimi has said.
Thank you eleizibeth ^
I stack my signatures rather than delete them so I don't lose them

Oh my, I really like hook jumps and pixel drops...
Inescapable Traps
Why would you make a world that players have to leave, then reenter when they make a mistake in? It's extremely annoying and when this happens to me, I leave but don't reenter. Don't use these at all.
Reminder to all level creators. I've seen many good levels ruined completely by this lately Especially coop levels, almost all of them I've seen had traps that added nothing to the gameplay. Coin puzzles/Coin avoiding are the only level types where you have an excuse for traps. In other cases you can always design your rooms in such way that instead of having to restart the entire level you only need to restart the current room.
Thank you in advance for not making any more traps!

Dunno if someone said it, but the bad thing is when you place coin the way it can be accidentaly skipped or it's on the ground and you can't see it if someone's smilie on that coin.

we should add untested minis to the list. if you make something to try and be hard, make sure its possible.

Awesome guide
*Gives You Chris's job*
XD only joking
hook jumps are ok though its only the people who suck at them who hate iit. but definitely not 1 per level

Thank you very much, this is exactly all the stuff I avoid in my maps.
I will link this whenever i see map that has this

The old topic was unorganized and annoying to search through. Here's a new one.
Annoying World Names
http://i.imgur.com/UCmaj.png
Naming a world in all capital letters with spaces between every letter will likely cause a lot less world plays then you might like. It will repel the sensible players who influence the EE community the most, causing your work to go unnoticed. Not a good idea to use a name like this.Too Many Coins
http://i.imgur.com/6ffBu.png
Using too many coins can be a problem. Using a lot of coins is often a strategy used by world creators to make the chance of magic higher, but, in truth, this doesn't work. Also, the sound of coins clinking over and over again gets really annoying. Limit coin placing to one coin per hard-to-reach objective.Paths of Dots
http://i.imgur.com/4cCuM.png
These minigames can and have gotten really old really fast. They were never fun and never will be, and they take too much time to play. Please don't use these.Elevators
http://i.imgur.com/ZiAbO.png
These are okay in small quantities, but very long, thin ones can get very irritating after a while. I've seen ones that go all the way from the bottom of a level to the top, and those are hell. Use these as few and far between as possible.Hookjumps
http://i.imgur.com/QeSlS.png
Okay, no one likes these. They are extremely annoying and all the sensible players avoid them at all costs. I would limit these to one per level if possible.Icicle paths
http://i.imgur.com/qBUz5.png
I call these icicle paths because playing them is like tracing the outlines of icicles. They, like Elevators, are okay in very small quantities, but long rows of them will make a lot of players quit on sight.Drop'n'jumps
http://i.imgur.com/Jqfdc.png
There really isn't a widely used name for these. They are overused and completely unoriginal. They are not quite as annoying as some of the other things in this list, but that doesn't make them fun. Don't use these at all.Low Ceiling Jumps
http://i.imgur.com/NW2l8.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/kuvFI.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/cS8sd.png
These are just as overused as Drop'n'Jumps, and are no fun. I'd limit use of these to three to four jumps per world.Inescapable Traps
http://i.imgur.com/9JPZY.png
Why would you make a world that players have to leave, then reenter when they make a mistake in? It's extremely annoying and when this happens to me, I leave but don't reenter. Don't use these at all.Pixel Jumps
http://i.imgur.com/IA5QD.png
There is no (good) excuse for using these. Everyone hates them, they are annoying, and they are extremely overused. Don't use these at all either.Stairs
http://i.imgur.com/hV7pn.png
No. Just, no. These have always been overused. It's even worse if you make the keys trollable. I suggest only using these if you have a new concept for them, such as an automated key system.Sticky Jumps and Arrow Jumps
http://i.imgur.com/5C8NH.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/kuvFI.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/cnWXT.png
These also are fine when used sparsely. But when used in rows of five or more they are a nuisance. Sticky Jumps (the image on the left) are not nearly as bad as Arrow Jumps (the image on the right). Use as few as possible.Tightfits
http://i.imgur.com/jFlTP.png
These are perhaps the most overused filler ever created. They take a long to time to get through and are extremely annoying. I would only use up to three of these per map, if they are incorporated into the art.Pixel Drops
http://i.imgur.com/2ZfBi.png
These are very annoying also. They take many tries to complete successfully and are also overused. Do not use these.Fake Codes
http://i.imgur.com/iDUpy.png
Don't make promises that you don't intend on keeping. If you make it look like the players will get the code when they finish a level, make sure they do. Placing fake codes in a level is a cheap gimmick that nobody likes. Never use these.Secret Mazes
http://i.imgur.com/6n6m7.png
These are another one of those fillers that every minigame maker seems to love. They are annoying, especially when they fill a large space, sometimes even a whole level. Use these as sparingly as possible. Thanks for reading, and be sure to let me know if there are any I missed!

Still messed up. See the [center]?
Add to the list; A lack of Checkpoints.
It's annoying when you complete a really hard part of the level then end up having to restart it because there isn't a checkpoint after it. It's virtually a way to make someone Ragequit.

This is sooo annoying, you must go back every time and go one step up every time.'
I hate these.
What is pendulum? Cause it sounds cool, but you say its nooby Time to make an anti-noobifier!
It's supposed to be this thing.
But I don't see how it looks at all like a pendulum.
