Blocks You Need
- Cloud (Block)
- Yellow Mineral (Block)
- Lightest Lava (Block)
- Yellow Glass (Block)
- Light Yellow Sand (Block)
- Dark Yellow Sand (Block)
Step 1
Create the basic shape of the sun and clean up the edges.

Step 2
Create a white blob in the middle. Make it random.

Step 3
Blend the blocks in a circular pattern from the middle out (cloud, mineral/light sand, yellow glass, light lava, dark sand). Remember to keep the brightest blocks towards the center. After that you can add a few random blocks if you want.

I'm guessing this tutorial was inspired from the Level Tutorial Topic.

As for the tutorial, very nice. This sun could be used with Halloween themed worlds. You could convert this tutorial to make the sun white/grey for a night-time world. But the sun in this tutorial could also be for night-time aswell.

The sun in these pictures didn't come out quite right. But the 2 links on the bottom look a lot better.
