Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: BEE's Guide to EE Art [Palettes, Pics, & More!]

Hahah I love it!

I even was able to play it (til i got stuck in the N cause I fail at jumpin //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile)

Art feedback, honestly youre a great artist I dont even think you need to come to me for feedback lol. A lot of what you do is simply stylistically different than me, that doesnt make it wrong. I love how you are able to depict movement, that is very difficult to do. Only thing I have to say is that with that many cracks in a boat, there are sure to be pieces in the water itself, or the boat on fire or something (especially if theres comets hitting it =O)

I also, feel like the bottom crack is obviously a path, simply add more black cracks to make it look more a part of the art, rather than black as the place to walk and grey being the other cracks in the boat (I hope this makes sense let me know if it doesnt)

Otherwise Im going to guess that you will add texture to the sea and top of the boat, so Ill let you do that before I give any feedback. Loving the way you drew the comet, but dont forget that comets have quite a long tail from the light they burn in the sky, maybe red keys or crowns to make the tail a bit longer.

Oh, and is that rocketship landed in lava or are they taking off? I wasnt sure seeing as it looks like its incomplete =P

Yes i do.

I love how you are able to depict movement, that is very difficult to do.
How I exactly do I do that? Can you tell me? Because I didn't even know that was possible

Only thing I have to say is that with that many cracks in a boat, there are sure to be pieces in the water itself, or the boat on fire or something (especially if theres comets hitting it =O)
Tried, but I thought it looked like ice so I deleted it until I found some other reason the boat was in pieces. Now I have a comet.

I also, feel like the bottom crack is obviously a path, simply add more black cracks to make it look more a part of the art, rather than black as the place to walk and grey being the other cracks in the boat (I hope this makes sense let me know if it doesnt)
Makes sense

Oh, and is that rocketship landed in lava or are they taking off? I wasnt sure seeing as it looks like its incomplete =P
Taking off

Me = Red BEE = Something else.

Then you must be a natural! The first step to depicting motion is picking your subject matter. For example, comparing your boat disaster to my peanut butter, your boat already has movement just by the fact that its an event that is depicted, not just an object.

Secondly the key is to find a "time" in the event where the event is still taking place (ie: it has started yet not finished) and take a "snapshot" of that. Which you have done by making the boat crackING apart (not completely whole and not completely broken)

Thirdly its all in the details. Look at that table, the lamp the chairs and the comet. The fact that the hull is fillING up with water, but not all the way full. Even the cracks show that not only are they there but they are actually still developing!
As for the piecefs breaking off, dont worry about it. You can put a few in but if it doesnt work because of the limited colors we have, then not much you can do about that,

And btw, lol, you dont have to give me a + rep every time i give you feedback XD

Re: BEE's Guide to EE Art [Palettes, Pics, & More!]

Not done yet. I'll fix it so people can play it and put a temp win crown and a couple coins while I'm building it. Done with the next part.
http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWSrHScy54a0I
Can you give me some more feedback, BEE? And with the 99-coin coin door, I'm going to drop off people at the beginning after the rocket/space part and then they go back through that last big part of ship to the win zone. I just started on the stars and I will be adding constellations and galaxies up there.
