Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

After having something I made trashed in an open room, I decided to lock the editing tools and try again. For some reason, I decided to take an "art" approach to my new room that I called Mario Junk.
What's in it?
Several Mario "sprites" that visitors and zoom around and look at.
An obstacle course.
A few little tricky jumps and such.
It took HOURS to make by myself, but it was a lot of fun. I wrote about making it and people coming in and watching me as well. Here that is: http://rev-depot.com/2010/08/15/everybo … mario-art/
I dabbled a bit in Everybody Edits last night, but today is my first day really sitting back and enjoying it. Considering people were dropping in and just watching me "sprite" things, it was well worth it!

Very nicely done, considering it's your first day. Is this raster art?
Raster art?
I just used the tools that Everybody Edits provided me with to try and match the real Mario sprites.
Raster means pixel by pixel. So yeah, I guess so. Pretty nice!
Unfortunately I missed this map. It's amazing you did this pixel by pixel, no wonder it took you hours to complete. The art is definitely great and I would have loved to have seen it up close.
I hope we see more from you in the future.

Well, I made another attempt at a Mario room. This time I decided to make a rollercoaster, guiding visitors along to check out everything I was making.
I had LOTS of people drop in. The room is still up, but since I leave work (yes I am doing this crap at work) in about an hour, it'll probably go down then.
Here are some pics. Took about six hours. Loads of fun, especially Bowser.

I'm estimating that the overal "ride" is about three minutes long.

UPRC - I saved your map in case you ever want to repost it. I didn't want to see your 6 hours go to waste, especially after how quickly your other map crashed.
Great art again BTW, keep up the good work.
Cool, thanks. How would I go about doing that?
your stupid nubcake
UPRC is a good art maker and he or she is not stupid so dont call him or her stupid red1pizza!
your stupid nubcake
I like how you bumped a three month old topic to tell me that, despite not giving any reason to indicate how or why I am stupid. Thanks.
your stupid nubcake
1 - You're
2 - stupid(comma or semicolon)
3 - nubcake(period)
4 - Reasoning
5 - You just bumped a 3 month old thread (so YOU'RE stupid; nubcake)
/troller
Are you the original owner? I've seen all of this before, including the bowser.
how do you make the ? block for the art?

The Mario Rollercoaster? Yeah, it took me several hours to make all of that back in August or whatever. I noticed that immediately afterwards, there were lots of Mario sprite rooms being made.... I blame myself for that, sorry.
Looks nice. I can hardly do raster art.
