Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

He isn't. He's just a player who has many concerns for the game

A bit exaggerated though, aren't they?

EE! will be released in "early 2022", we all know how it was with "early 2019".
Smh, why does the dev team tell a random community member the release date and not me instead, the project owner?

At this point I consider Kira's posts a Tardigrade.
The name Tardigradum means "slow walker" and was given by Lazzaro Spallanzani in 1777.It can persist for more than 30 years, Depending on the environment, the posts may enter this state via anhydrobiosis, cryobiosis, osmobiosis, or anoxybiosis

You don't need to tell us about any date. But calling us for random members is also not nice.
I must say that you and your team is random too. Never released a game, but have both Website and Twitter.
Just the twitter message sound like something bad, "Do we make games? Maybe. Did you check in too early? Yes."
I'm sorry if I sound cocky. But I have never heard about you guys before, and came from nowhere.

I don't think Satanya meant any insult by it. Random does not mean bad.

IMO random is just a person who isn’t well known in the community. Many of us are randoms

tbh it's used as an insult to devalue someone and their opinion a lot, so uou shouldn't use it unless you intend to insult someone or you're okay with people seeing it as an insult

So EEU is scrapped but a new EE using the original’s source code is being made? Is that what’s going on?

While IMO it’s a bit early for this thread, we will see more like it if there aren’t regular progress updates. We don’t need daily garden vlogs from Satanya, but with five devs and four artists - all of them allegedly paid and full-time - there should be plenty to write about even if it’s kept vague and secretive.
This community will (hopefully) form the core user base that will create content and give new players something to interact with. Good PR needs to keep these people informed, because if they stop checking for news then they won’t know to come back. Lack of transparency has been one of EE’s top community complaints, and I’d hate to see the usual crowd turn against Satanya when it all suddenly sounds so promising.
(Yes I know they’re a small minority of loud and often annoying people, but they’re very active and will hand out propaganda at the door, so make sure it’s good propaganda.)
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

The new EE! will not use the original source code. It is EEU that used some original source code. EE! will be made entirely from scratch with no legacy code being used.

I don't think she meant it in a mean way, calling any of us random community members would be accurate, including the staff

So a brand new EEU without the U?

Yo dawg i heard you like EE. So we dropped EEU and we’re making EE, but don’t mistake it for EE which is the old version but a new type of EE that’s going to be like EE but it’s not actually EE.

That basically just means it will take 3 times as longer to make, lol.

Not when the development is being done by a team of paid programmers rather than a few volunteers with busy lives.

you realize that this is very very early in development? You can tell people release dates when you have the "basic" infrastructure done and you can estimate how long will it take to do the rest.
If you haven't finished the basics, you can't know how long it will take. That's why there is no release date.
This is no Xenonetix y'all, he promised you "Early 2019" in Spring of 2018 and hasn't started developing it by late 2018. Then he realized that "wow, i thought this can be done in like 1 month with unpaid labor, i guess i was wrong".
Promising a release date when you don't even know yourself how long will project take to make is silly

In case any misinformation spreads about Xeno's Early 2019 announcement, here's the exact wording he used:
We currently predict this will be ready for Beta Launch early into 2019, if not sooner!

EEU died two months after it was created, and EE! has no leaks, not even the logo.
I have not much to say other than that EE! is either just an attempt to keep us from crying, or that it'll be shortlived like EEU.
