That's not what he said. He said you'd need to be actively attacking the forums to get a permanent ban. Though, you can also just request to be banned.

Also kind of an edge case in this space: We also permanently ban alt accounts like here. But the *person* is not banned, the main account is left intact, although possibly with a warning for having the second account depending on the situation.
