Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yeah all the roles are court themed, lets see how it goes.
The basic rules are the same as usual, basically try to post relatively often (although given COVID-19 I'm expecting excuses like "I was at school" to be less believable), and don't be a ****.
There's a few important rule changes though:
1. This game will end at the end of Day 5. No exceptions, no matter who, if anyone, has won.
2. Almost everyone can use the "!vote X" command, but only votes from the Jury will actually count.
3. The final vote count will not be revealed, only the result.
4. If the Jury votes result in a tie, there will be an extra 24 hours given for people to only vote for the players that are tied. If it results in a tie again, there will be no lynch.
5. The "Judge" role has the power to cancel a lynch, so there may be a delay between when the votes close to when the results are revealed.

what happens if the prosecutor votes?

so, if the prosecutor cannot vote, we can simply do this:
> all players vote, jury, attorney, judge and hitman
> if you dont vote, you become the prime suspect, lynched no matter what you say until you vote
> but if the prosecutor cannot vote no matter what, so at the end of votings, one player will remain without voting
> that player is the prosecutor, confirmed
> so as we know who the prosecutor is, it can tell us the who the hitmen
> GG

no if we do that mafia just kill him
mafia would only kill him if he is one of the targets.
after prosecutor uses his power, there is no point for mafia focusing him.

so can we start the votings?
we must set a 1 day duration for this vote phase, if someone does not vote during this period, then we wagon it
also
@ONJIT does reaching majority ends the votings or we must wait until the time is over?
F
Offline
how long until a hitman claims prosecutor and claims 3 random people to kill
if we follow the "All Vote" strategy, then the prosecutor must be the only one that wont end up voting at the end, we'd have a clear crystal confirmation that it is indeed the prosecutor
F
Offline
So lets do this way:
STARTING FROM ALLEN VOTE, EVERYONE MUST VOTE UNTIL MAR 28 AT 6:49PM ET
IF YOU DONT VOTE, YOU'LL BE WAGONED
ALSO, COUNT THE VOTES SO THE ONE YOU VOTE DOES NOT HAVE MORE THAN 4 VOTES
Thank you very much

oh wrong player
its pqwerty not allen lol
but you got it

in which case if he claims he get nigtkiled N1 no matter what but hey if i was pors. i wouldve cliamed inmediatly aswell so the game got solved on D3 (4 if not beliving me)
if prosecutor gets confirmed D1 and he reveals his targets, why would mafia targets him first?
everything the prosecutor would do, it already did
mafia targeting prosec would be pretty much a useless night kill, as the prosec cannot vote so his permanence on the game woudn't affect mafia lynchings

why vote for me?
BECAUSE you still have less than 4 votes on you
please read the strategy again

Well time is over.

Allen
These guys have not voted yet.
WARNING
IF WE WAIT UNTIL THEY VOTE, THERE IS A VERY HIGH CHANCE THAT THEY WILL WAIT UNTIL THE ROUND IS ALMOST EXPIRING, SO WE HAVE NO TIME TO SWITCH VOTES
pretty active, but has not cooperated to solve the game

hmmmmmmm
@ONJIT are you considering votes out of

Jawapa we just your vote on someone.
You can vote on me if you want
F

I'll resume for you:
We are doing an "Everyone Vote" strategy.
As only the Prosecutor cannot vote, so at the end only it will remain without voting.
That grant us a clear confirmation that it is indeed the prosecutor.
As we have it confirmed, it can tell us who the Hitmen are, as it was already revealed for it.
This is a pretty bad strategy for mafia, so if you wont cooperate with it, you become a suspect and wagon target.
As for now, only you and Allen have not voted yet.

More paranoid thoughts:
Maybe the hidden Prosecutor mechanic is that if they vote themselves they die? Which puts them before undesirable choice of surrendering their own goal to gift the town an easy win
As the game is now, the Prosecutor is doomed.
> If the the last non-Prosecutor player does not vote, we'll have to lynch one of them, 50% chance of lynching the Prosecutor
> If the Prosecutor gets revealed, then he must say who the Hitmen are. If he dont, then mafia instakills him on N1
Allen or Jawapa, one of them is the Prosecutor, and one is certainly a Hitman.
We must discuss now who of them we lynch.
I'll warn again, lets not wait for their votes, or we'll have no time to switch votes, increasing the chance of misslynching a town.

OH JUST REALISED SOMETHING!
If we consider that either Allen or Jawapa is a member of Hitmen, then mafia already know who the Prosecutor is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn Prosecutor, out those sweet mafia now!!!!!! You are already dead anyway.

This is assuming the prosecutor didn't fake vote
It cannot fake vote.
Btw, i asked @ONJIT if your vote is valid, waiting for his answer.

Andymakeer wrote:Btw, i asked @ONJIT if your vote is valid, waiting for his answer.
Why would he answer this question for anyone?
BECAUSE your vote was not using h tag.
I want to know if he is considering your vote as valid.
If it is not valid or he doesnt answer, then you become suspect.

thank you very much
btw, Allen or Jawapa are the suspects now, your vote on me makes you look scummy imo...

TaskManager wrote:mrjawapa wrote:How does that confirm who the prosecutor is? Are we assuming onjit is going to release the vote counts?
It makes no sense to explicitly say that Prosecutor can't vote if Onjit isn't going to post vote counts
The votes of other non-jury roles don't count either so what would be the difference and reason to mention it only in Prosecutor's rolecard? Are they not allowed to cast a vote at all, or is their vote just not counted?
If the prosecutor pretends to cast a vote anyway, and Onjit doesn't give us a vote count, then how does this prove anything?
I'm not convinced this is a good plan. I'll follow through with it, but I have a feeling this is going to bite us in the ****.
Are lynches done on majority or plurality?
Why are y'all voting for allen if you think he's the prosecutor? He's beneficial to the town, and y'all are trying to kill him. Anyone that has cast a vote for him is suspect in my eyes.
Jawapa, you must understand something:
If you are the prosecutor, then Mafia already knows it.
Being the Prosecutor grants you the power to know who the Hitmen are, and if you dont tell it, then you will be instakilled on N1, no matter if you are a target or not.
By using the move "abstain", you increase A LOT the chances for Mafia win:
They only need 3 kill to win, so the game will inevitably finish on the end of N3 (if Prosec is target) or N4 (if Prosec is not).
If we lynch Allen and he flips scum, then we must lynch the other 2 mafia by the end of D3.
As for now, no one has outed any other player as scum other than Allen.
@ONJIT
Is this "secret rule" Allen is telling us even a thing?
I'm not buying it, and if it is, you should have hinted it on the op.

so gg town just lost hthe pors. nice we lost our own chance to win the **** game
the prosecutor just need to claim and tell us who the hitmen are, its simple.
mafia already know who it is anyway...
