With Proc flipping scum Mutant is now scoring the first place on my scum list
I also have a heavy scum lean on Buzzer and slightly less on 2B

I'm open to lynching Mutant since without power roles there's no other way to clean his name than to flip his role and knowing how Mutant is even better at lying through his teeth than Proc, I don't want scum!Mutant to lie his way out of this
I understand that Proc could be simply taking advantage of Mutant helping him out to ensure that we lynch town!Mutant after Proc flips but I'm willing to take this risk

Mutant's initial reaction to the Proc wagon makes me think that they're scum buddies and *IF* they are a scum team, they were blatantly scumbuddying and expecting that the "scum would never do that" card would defend them

Yo, why the **** are we lynching proc, what's wrong with y'all?

I wanted proc to speak up just as much as the rest of y'all but you're pressuring him with votes that you can't actually take back... that is just utterly stupid.

Proc also mentioned the idea that scum buddying is just lame, which could be him setting forth the grounds for playing that card later:

In this game, it's unlikely we see any group strategy from scum and can expect each scum to think for themselves.

Keep that in mind when you're analyzing group behavior.

Also I think Mutant could likely be a member of the second scum team

For the record, scum can actually scum hunt themselves, so yes, Task could still possibly be Mafia. In any case, pay attention to anyone that might try to start a counter wagon.

Valid point, there should be no confirmed townies until we lynch the third scum, or until we lynch the second scum AND somehow prove they weren't in Proc's team

you have to take into account the fact that Mutant could just be a Townie who defended the wrong person

I do take that into account and given that mutant is pretty good at making lies too, there's no way to discover what really happened other than by flipping Mutant
Still, even then if mutant flips maf, we won't find out whether scum!mutant was Proc's teammate or they were on different mafia teams, so it could still be mutant defending proc without knowing the truth
Thus as I said I'm willing to take the risks of mislynch here given the opportunity to catch another scum. In this game any lynch is a risk anyway so yea
Not saying we should rush it btw, since there's plenty of time, perhaps other options could be explored

debatable

the reason i was for double lynch was because it ensures that proc doesnt get away with it if a mislynch on me happens
i honestly didnt trust you guys to lynch him the next day if you were to only hang me, so i insisted on a double lynch to make things fair
especially given that mutant stepped in with so much effort to steer the lynch away from proc

mutant doesnt seem eager to say anything
but his words are not going to change my mind anyway so

I've not read anyone's reasons for voting me but I'm presuming the reason mostly boils down to "he was wrong about processor so he's scum". Such a reason should be heavily scrutinised for its obvious fallacy and I think it's a line of reasoning that is inherently opportunistic in getting me lynched. Obviously, this doesn't count so much for peace since he always bases his votes and reads on face value.

I think TaskManager and jawapa are not only scum but also on the same scum team.

If you have mentioned my town read on Processor as part of why I should be lynched then my comments are justified and it shows that I have a solid understanding of both how you work and how the game works. If you haven't, then the townie thing to do would be to point out that since I'd expect you to do that as scum you not doing it is evidence that you are town.

That doesn't even explicilty say "jawapa and task could be a scum team", the quote could've easily meant that we're of opposite alignments, especially given that you had initially a more townish read on Jawapa than on me, after we cast our peace/norboy votes
And your next post is when there's already a solid wagon on Proc
So yeah I think you had a retaliatory motivation behind the "task/jawapa scum team" claim

Any reads changes that I've not explained come from me rereading various posts whilst delivering my case on jawapa and general flicks through the thread just now/within the last 3 or 4 hours. My personal recommendation would be to lynch people from the bottom of my list upwards but y'know my opinions would probably change if I was alive and you should have your own opinions and stuff.

When Norboy confronted him, he suddenly changed his tone to a much more "joking" one
He also avoided Norboy's question that was "which one convinced you if they had different reasons?"

2B is just sheeping opinions. And I don't know exactly what to make of it. In EE Forums Mafia it seems that's consistently what happens with his playstyle. But I know from playing with him in Discord Mafia that he has the ability to scumhunt and form his own reads instead of simply sheep other people's opinions.

I disagree with the double lynching.
You might say that getting rid of two suspicious players in one day is good, but that’s a no for me.

1. If we lynch both Processor and TaskManager today, the result is either satisfying or disappointing. A scenario that both are mafia can happen, as well as 1 town 1 scum or even both town. I don’t think that both Processor are TaskManager are both mafia, so we need to be careful of our decisions. We certainly don’t want the worst scenario to happen. That’s why we should play safe and lynch one of them first, instead of both.

2. Double lynching would waste this day and possibly the next day too. If we lynch both Processor and TaskManager today, then what’s the point of this whole discussion in Day 2? This Processor vs Task thing ultimately ends in both dying after this whole discussion? Not worth it. If we know that both got lynched, then we could’ve used this day to discuss other things. If nothing surprising happened, lynching them separately can let us to have a target for lynching in Day 3, so we don’t have to worry about who to lynch, and while we have our target for Day 3, we can discuss who to lynch on Day 4 too.

3. Lynching either one of Processor or TaskManager can let us to know information about the other person, so we can make a final decision whether to lynch or not based on the lynched person’s alignment. Lynching both of them for me is like wasting a chance to have more information about the other person.

A Task lynch would be hard to do, since all players who still didn’t vote needs to vote on Task in order to get him lynched. But I’m convinced by Proc that he’s most likely town, since he defended himself when Shadow attacked him, this just disproves the statement that Processor is avoiding questions. And Task is also fine with himself lynched, so I’m gonna place my vote on Task.

Okay, when push came to shove mutant came with some good explanations and reasoning, and for that I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

TaskManager hasn't given a convincing enough defense in my opinion. Also didn't realize how little time was left, so:

The act of saving Shadow should be no basis for any town credit going for her
Her vote was a rushed attempt to avoid the vote modkill too, which is scummy and given that she rushed it, she most likely saved Shadow without realizing it

Crybaby picked her posts apart fairly well imo so you should prolly look into that

personally i don't think that devle is scum for defending proc, he could be town just defending the wrong person. right now i'm okay with devle being lynched, but i'm not gonna do so myself because i'm not convinced that he's scum. i understand the reasons for voting for him (sorta) but i'm not really convinced

If I had to give a definitive answer on the third person I'd say ele.

i changed my mind. this actually makes me think if he is scum then he is trying to **** frame me by "pretending to distance" himself and i'm upset now so i'm now okay with lynching him but i wanna see a vote count first and his post that he's "planning to prepare"

Well, sorry Mutant. In good news, though, everything he said can now be trusted. He mentioned something he wished to happen the day after his death, lynch either Jawapa or Task, if either flip scum then lynch the other, if not then lynch elei, then regardless lynch the other person. I still have my suspicions on Elei even though they saved Shadow from certain death really late last night, and I suspect 2b might be alone with Processor dead. I know Mutant had me 3rd from the bottom on his sus list, so if y'all think lynching me is an okay alternative then that's okay, too,  but I'm gonna start with a vote.

I said your defense wasn't convincing on D3, not D2.

The point I was making is that my defense didn't change since early D2, so you could vote me as early as then, instead of D3, but alright the Proc part is a fair point
