Alright y'all I said I would do a reads list and stuff about my thoughts on Mutant's flip, and this is what I'm doing. It's all gonna be in a few spoilers because I expect it to be fairly long.

Anyway, with that out of the way, here you go:

▼Nomination Thoughts

First of all, I want to get my opinions about the Nominations for this D2 and D4 out. Knowing the nominees for D2 (Me, Mutant, and Peace), and for today (Me, Taskmanager, and Eleizibeth), one of the things that strikes me the most is that the nominations for each day seem to be the people that are regarded as the most suspicious, as well as also being the ones that are, in a sense, the most suspicious.

Mutant and I were candidates in Day 2, and we're both experienced. I tend to make mistakes, though (i.e. Mutant), and Mutant tends to be more suspected on regards of his expertise in Mafia. The same goes for me (e.g. Universe Mafia when I was targeted Day 1). If the Mafia did this intentionally, they likely chose us knowing that we would only make ourselves more suspicious by being in the candidacy. Peace is a different story, Peace just filled a filler spot, I suppose.

For Day 4, I was yet again chosen, but this time, it was after I was highly regarded as suspicious for my attacks on Mutant. Taskmanager was chosen, after being suspected by Mutant, and others. And Eleizibeth was chosen, for what I assume to be general disconnection from the game holding a similar resonance to their play on Universe Mafia.

I don't claim that this is 100% the reason any of us were chosen. It's simply the reason I believe that we were chosen for the nomination.

I have a high regard that the candidates for today are all town, which leads to another point: the Mafia have specifically chosen town members in the Nominations. More than likely, the Mafia are trying to play a safe bet, and risk as little as possible in order to achieve their goals.

There are many reasons I believe the nominees for today are all town. All of us are suspicious in various ways, and I would consider some of us to be more suspicious than others. The Mafia realize if any of them look suspicious, and are less likely to place suspicious Mafia Members into the Nominee pool, because then it puts one of their most suspicious members out in the open for the town to take their chance. Furthermore, given the situation we're in (Where tomorrow is going to be LyLo), the Mafia will more than likely want to guarantee a mislynch today, to guarantee a LyLo tomorrow, as well as heighten their chances of winning the game.

For these reasons, I believe the Mafia are trying to play safe bets, and that ideals likely show through their playstyle as well.

▼Reads

I'm not going to do a whole load of quotes for this post, because one, I want to keep it short and to the point, mainly pointing out my thoughts over a few topics and whatnot

Side note for these reads, I'm trying not to completely rush them, because I want them to be as concise as possible, but I don't expect to spend something like 5 hours on them to make the best reads possible. I'm reading through the whole thread in general, but most of these reads are simply coming from the Nomination candidates, and how that correlates to everyone and my reads of them.

The reads will be listed in the order they were listed on in the OP.

Crybaby/NoNK

Though I've had general suspicions about Crybaby and NoNK. I don't know 100% about my standings of NoNK. Part of me wants to claim them as Town, but a part of me also doesn't want to acclaim to it too quickly. Crybaby has had suspicious moments in Day 2, regarding Mutant. But having gone through the ordeal myself with Mutant in D3, I can see slightly where the appeal came from.

NoNK does not fit the mafia model I have set in the Nominations idea. Though, I wouldn't use this to disregard him as Mafia, since the main point is that the Mafia have been choosing townsmembers into the candidates for lynching, so that the Mafia can play a safer bet into the future days.

I've tried to get reactions out of NoNK by going for things I knew would throw him off (e.g. pointing out his misusage of the colors. It's a weak argument, so I figured if he made a big deal out of it, then it might lead to something). But nothing was ever really yielded from it, which is why I feel like it points more to a townish perspective.

In general, I think that Crybaby/NoNK is more likely a town-lean. But for the time being, and not wanting to claim to anything too early, knowing how well NoNK is at hiding as Mafia, I'm going to claim NoNK as a Townleaning Null.

ZeldaXD

First thing I want to get out of the way, mainly on a little trap I set up, to see how things would turn out. On D3 I said I would bring up my opinions on ZeldaXD again for D4. I knew 100% that today was going to be nomination day, which is why set that up. I wanted to see if the Mafia would place ZeldaXD in the nominations. Zelda was arguably one of the most suspicious people out of everyone, and almost took the rope, yet same going for me, where I was arguably one of the most suspicious in D3, yet I was the only one of the two placed in the chopping block. The Mafia chose me to go in, knowing I looked suspicious, while when Zelda looked relatively similar in suspicion, they went without taking that chance, and avoided the trap I set up for today.

In relation to my idea of the "trap." I didn't trust Zelda at the time, nor do I really trust anyone. But I found Mutant more suspicious. So I figured it would be better to keep the vote to Mutant, while setting a trap up for the Mafia. I said I would speculate on Zelda, showcasing the suspicion I and others shared against Zelda. More likely than not, and as proven by myself as a candidate for today's nomination, with a Town Zelda being suspected, Zelda would have been placed in the nominations as someone the Mafia could have easily mislynched.

This idea is the key principle I took at the end of the day yesterday, and am taking into day. For this reason, Zelda is more regarded as a Scumlean to me.

Kira

This one is fairly obvious. Kira not only fits the style I would expect of a Mafia Member playing safe bets (i.e. scumcoasting, hiding in the shadows, not holding much opinions, etc.), but Kira also retaliated NoNK's suspicion by simply saying that NoNK is an obvious mafia, and stating they didn't want to explain why.

Kira is one of the people I more regard as a Scumlean.

As with previous points, I've set traps in my own posts. Similarly to NoNK, I used some semi-BS logic to get a reaction out of Fuu. I overexaggerated the connection between Fuu and Mutant, one, to prove my own point, and two, to see Fuu's reaction to it.

I don't know exactly what it is about Fuu's response to the post, but in general it just seemed more nervous than some of his other posts where he seems confidence. I couldn't point anything out about it specifically that points to why he seems nervous in the post, but the response was fishy. He focused on my point for a paragraph, then moved onto discrediting Taskmanager, and furthering his point to why Taskmanager would be a better candidate for my attention than himself.

Fuu also fits the model I would expect a Mafia for this game to hold, simply because though he's been more active than Zelda, Kira, or Slabdrill (These 4 being the ones I regard the most highly as fitting the model I've presented), he's not presented much of his own opinion, and the highest regard of his own opinion I can see, is his attempts to switch over the speculations to Taskmanager on his own accounts of why he finds Taskmanager scummy.

And on the note of Taskmanager v. Fuu, Fuu spent most of D3 trying to deter suspicions to Taskmanager. I really don't know what it was about it, but he was relentless about it. I've pointed it out before, but he tried to move the suspicions away to Taskmanager for the majority of D3, and then on D4 seemed to drop those suspicions. The best idea I can come up for it is that Fuu was trying to save himself from the rope by providing another alternative to himself, since D3 is the day I started presenting my suspicions against Fuu.

For all of those reasons, I feel that Fuu is more regarded as a Scumlean, and because of his general demeanor throughout the game fitting some of the same ideals I would expect someone of the Mafia Model I've set to hold.

Slabdrill

Slabdrill also fits the description I would expect a safe Mafia to be playing. Although, I don't know if I believe Slabdrill is as suspicious as someone like Kira, Zelda, or Fuu, simply because Slabdrill has been putting in what feels like to me more of an effort to help the game progress than Kira, or Fuu have. Zelda seems to have been helping relatively similar, but I believe Zelda is suspicious on different regards.

Though I find Slabdrill suspicious, I do not find him as suspicious as some of the others, which is why I'm only placing Slabdrill as a Scumleaning Null.

eleizibeth

First of all. In general, Eleizibeth's playstyle reminds me of how she played in Universe Mafia. E.g. scumcoasting, following the town majority, widely wooting posts instead of making posts, etc. Literally the only reason I don't consider Eleizibeth as Mafia for these reasons alone is because Eleizibeth has been chosen as one of the Nominees for today. And by the reasons I've listed in the part of my post about the Nomination choices, I don't believe Eleizibeth is Mafia.

I consider Eleizibeth a Townlean, because though Eleizibeth fits the description I would expect a mafia in this game to have, I would not expect Mafia playing it safe to place one of their own in the lynch pool.

Taskmanager

Despite everything, I don't 100% believe Taskmanager is Town. I do believe he is more town than others simply because of the Nomination, as well as my own suspicion against Fuu, and why that correlates into Taskmanager (See Fuu's attempts to switch the suspicion over to Taskmanager throughout D3). There are minor things I find suspicious about Taskmanager, like his need to discredit the previous days wagons and lynches, despite sometimes being in support of the actions in some way or another.

Though, I more regard him as a Townlean, because of his placement in the nomination.

Final Thoughts

In general, the people I trust the most will be Eleizibeth and Taskmanager, since I consider them the most townleaning for their nomination today.

The people I expect to be the scumteam this game would be Zelda, Kira, and Fuu. But, I've been proven wrong before (Previously believing it's Mutant, Crybaby/NoNK, and Fuu). So while I would optimistically believe this model as the true standard, it's not set in stone, and it's only what I believe.

I don't believe Slabdrill isn't mafia, but I simply don't find Slab as suspicious as any of these three, which is why I placed Slab out of the list. It is possible that Slab can be mafia, but I don't know completely.

▼Mutant's Flip

Though I did end up being wrong about Mutant's alignment, I did say that things could be brought about because of his alignment.

One of the few I mainly pointed out were NoNK, Taskmanager, Kira, and Fuu.

My thoughts on NoNK are pretty much null from it. My reads regarding this were mostly to come about regarding if Mutant flipped red, in which I would likely believe NoNK is mafia.

Though Mutant had suspicions on Taskmanager, I still hold the regard of Taskmanager being a townlean, because Mutant never presented any hardcore suspicions against Taskmanager, and mostly presented questions for Taskmanager. Despite that I won't rule out the possiblity.

Kira I find more suspicious. My reason for believing before that Kira would not be suspicious was simply because I felt that Mutant was trying to deter the suspicion away from his scum partner over onto a less suspecting candidate in order to save his partner from the suspicion he created. Mutant didn't flip red, which meant Mutant was being genuine in his suspicion against Kira, and my own suspicions line up with that, which is why I feel that his flip only further supports the suspicion against Kira.

Fuu was adamant on believing there was no connection between himself and Mutant. And at first, I thought it was because him and Mutant were a scum team, and he was trying to prevent the connection from being formed. But from Mutant flipping town, I feel that it's more likely Fuu doesn't want to create connections to anyone in general, regardless of their alignment. And I think that shows through his playstyle as well, because he's quiet on his opinions, and doesn't reveal a whole lot about his own opinions. Despite that, I feel that also further supports the current suspicion against Fuu, because as town he would have no reason to try to avoid connections, since connections only heavily matter as Mafia, to avoid suspicion of connections with other players. Although, I could be wrong on this point.

I'm sorry I don't have more to say on Mutant's flip, but these are the thoughts I have on the flip, and why it supports some of the ideas I hold at the moment. I don't claim that Mutant's flip generally holds my claims to be all true. But I'm explaining why I feel that the flip proves some of my points, and how that correlated to why I felt the lynch was the better option. If anyone differs on their opinions for these points, then I'm all ears for it.

I do want to say, though. I'm sorry about my efforts of switching the vote to Mutant. I did have high regards of my suspicions against Mutant, and despite having the argument for it, I did end up being wrong, so I am sorry for leading the charge in that aspect.

Though I'm confident the whole pool is town, I'm less confident on Taskmanager being town simply because of his demeanor throughout the game. Which is why I'll be placing my vote against him. Regardless, I don't want Taskmanager to be hammered, because I just want to use my vote to set my opinion in stone. I feel the day should go through the entire cycle, that way everyones opinions are in. Though I do agree with NoNK that everyone should start to form an opinion, rather than just let others decide their opinion for them.

Anyway, with that out of the way:

Personally, I agree that Kira is the most scummy. Mainly because if I'm going off of previous games, even when Kira was town, and they were acting scummy, they made up for it by providing at least some level of insight on why they did what they did. This game they haven't said anything. Their only reason for not contributing anything at all is that they have nothing to say, but even this far into the game they haven't said anything of value. With the only main stance they've taken being sheeping my opinion, and claiming you as Mafia without explaining it.

So my D5 vote is Kira, because I find Kira more scummy than anyone else on the list.

My D7 vote is Fuu. Because though I find Zelda equally scummy, I based my suspicions of Zelda mostly on one argument, which, if proven false, holds no standings elsewhere to prove any other claims of why they are Mafia. Since the only other reason I've heard of why they're scummy is that they've been mostly apologetic for their inactivity, but the only message I can find that seems even remotely apologetic is when they said they would be inactive for their tests. Fuu, however, I based my suspicions off of more than just one suspicion or argument, which is why, even though I find them both equally suspicious, I'd be more confident in lynching Fuu on D7, rather than Zelda.

Then after that I'd most likely suggest Zelda for the hammer, unless evidence proves someone else is a better candidate to take the rope. Otherwise, i'd suggest that as the order. In my own opinion.

I do find it weird. But regardless, we are required to vote either between myself, you, and Eleizibeth today. Like I said before, I believe everyone in the nominations today is town, because it makes the most sense for the Mafia in every regard to make it an all town Nomination in order to secure their win.

Inactivity can be used as a scum tell when it's a strategy. I've explained why I think the mafia are playing safe bets, through my post. If the Mafia is playing safe, inactivity is a way for them to hide without having to put out much of an opinion. That shows through playstyles.

I think, thus far, people have used inactivity as a partial to their tell, because in the current stage we're in, there's absolutely no reason to be inactive. We have two chances left, but more than likely only one chance, because today's nominations are more likely only town nominees.

I don't know in what world Inactivity is considered Townie. Personally I kind of feel like Zelda is doing it as a subtle way of trying to defend themself without outright saying that as a defense.

And I'll agree with you on that there, NoNK, I do agree that Taskmanager has been getting most of the bad rap for this time around. I haven't heard all that much about Elei, and while I do believe that both of them are town because of being in the nomination alone, I'll follow you on Elei.

Alright I want to get my point out about Kira and Zelda before anything continues.

On the topic of Kira:

▼My suspicions against Kira

Kira's argument for why they aren't suspicious is completely BS. Their argument is that "scum reading based on inactivity isn't a good way of finding scum!!" And while that statement does hold it's value, that doesn't address my own suspicions against Kira.

I've explained my suspicions against Kira. But allow me to articulate it in more clarity in this post.

Kira is playing this game radically different than how they play as town.

One of the first things I've noticed is that Kira's sense of creating radically different stances to the town to create confusion for the mafia is gone. Take Universe Mafia for example, Kira used their votes to place it on random people that they found suspicious in order to create a reaction. But that seems to be gone this time around. In fact, their only suspicion I can truly recall seems to be NoNK. Because their suspicion of Mutant came from a sheeping of my own opinion.

Which brings me to another point on the same idea. Kira is sheeping opinions rather than creating their radically different stances like I've mentioned before. In Universe Mafia, Kira placed a vote against someone (Forgot who, and I don't feel like going back to check, but the idea stands, as I can clearly remember the ordeal going down), and Mutant sheeping Kira's opinion. I remember this lead others into believing that Kira and Mutant were Masons. Kira did this, regardless of how suspicious it made himself look. Kira, to me, has a track record of creating radically different ideas to generate discussion, rather than sheeping everyones opinion. And it was of his own making, rather than sheeping someone elses opinions.

And finally, that goes onto another point. This game, it seems as though Kira is simply trying to stay off the radar, and not gain much suspicion. Kira sheeped my opinion, rather than stating their own opinion of why they found Mutant suspicious, in general, they've been lacking in the game, and their only suspicion, as I've mentioned before, was on NoNK. And this comes about after NoNK starts their hardcore suspicions on Kira. Kira seems to just be trying to avoid any suspicion, which has shown through their voting patterns, sheeping opinions, and other general ideas.

And to further embellish this idea. Kira perfectly fits the mafia model I've presented before. I don't hold the model to be 100% true, but based on the common consensus that the pool this time around is town, I'm further going to believe that the model is true. Kira has been trying to avoid suspicion, and has been playing the safe game. They haven't been creating their radical opinions that they've been known to do.

If it was one case of sheeping, and other cases of creating radical ideologies, this whole suspicion wouldn't hold it's ground. But Kira hasn't been making the radical standpoints I have expected of them as Town, and their sheeping only further supports the idea that they're trying to play from the sidelines.

On the topic of ZeldaXD:

▼My suspicions of ZeldaXD

I've presented my case in the trap for today's nomination as to why I believe Zelda is Mafia. But their general demeanor for this game only further supports my suspicion against them. Which holds similar resonance to my case against Kira:

Zelda is playing this game differently than how they play as town.

Let me explain. One of the things I've come to know about Zelda is that, despite their inactivity, they find some way to pull through for the town. One of the biggest examples of this is in Universe Mafia, where they pulled through near the end of the game, despite only being a VT, and helping me in figuring out who the scum team were.

Zelda stays relatively inactive for the beginnings of the game, and typically only puts in their input where needed (And I will get back to this point later). But near the end of the game, Zelda usually starts pulling through more, presenting more ideas to who the Mafia are. And maybe, sure, Zelda doesn't have radical opinions of who the Mafia could be. But the fact of this that bothers me is that Zelda is continuing to fence sit on most players, while doing a null-scum read on the rest. I consider their opinion of me a fence-sitting, because while they did claim me as town, and the only one at that, they presented reasons to why I could still be mafia in that very same read.

Zelda has presented many cases of who they find to be suspicious, but they have yet to act on any of them, only really actively taking part in NoNK v. Kira. They had to be asked to present their reads, and through it all, they still continue to be sitting on the sidelines while simply watching everyone else form their own opinions of the game.

This is only further supported by today's nominations, as Zelda has STILL yet to make any concrete decision on who their vote will be for today, despite being somewhat active in the participation of the discussion of today.

Getting back to Zelda's input, though Zelda has provided input, I've gone through their iso, and a majority of their Iso just seems like ways to seed doubt into the town. They present reasons to suspect me, among others. They don't actively participate in the scum-hunt, despite feigning the appearance that they are. They're simply sitting on the sidelines, while pretending to hold the facade that they are in the scumhunt by presenting some points that only seem to detract the game, rather than move it forward. Ex: saying that inactivity isn't a good way to scumread, while not presenting an alternative to the candidates presented.

And this part is just a little side tangent. I've known Zelda pretty much every game presents a sheet of everyone currently in the game, showcasing their voting pattern. While it is a pretty typical thing of them, they still have yet to do it in this game. If they're waiting for a better time, we're pretty much nearing the endgame now, and they're sitting on the sideline just waiting for it all to end. It's a miniscule detail, but it just feels very off to me, because while it might not do much, Zelda presents it pretty much every game, and uses that to help in the scumhunt.

In general, Zelda seems to be playing very differently, and it only adds to my suspicion of them. They're fence sitting on multiple regards, which adds to the idea of them fitting into the Mafia Model, and they use their inactivity as a way to boast that playstyle while getting away with it because "inactivity isn't a way to scumread someone!"

So, in response to Kira. No. We're not all scumreading you based on inactivity. Inactivity is the most inexact way of going about scumreading someone, and if my read on you or Zelda was based on that alone, I would not have presented my case. If you want to dismantle my case with the evidence I've provided, then you're more than welcome to go ahead. But a simple "you're wrong!" or "This isn't a way to scumread someone!" won't cut it. I'm standing my ground until you can provide viable evidence for your case.

I'm going to keep my vote on Elei for the time being (Sorry Elei), but I agree with NoNK in that Taskmanager will likely be more of an asset to us in the scumhunt for Day 5. And, though I have my own personal set of suspicions, I do believe that having Taskmanager to back it up would make things better in the long run.

Let me provide a different alternative for you there Kira. I'm someone who's been known to be a strong player, alongside Mutant. Hence why the two of us were placed in the first day's nominations. The Mafia were hoping to get one of us out by the first nomination.

Then comes the second nomination, I'm placed yet again, but this time it's after I make my own radical opinion by going after Mutant. Which I turned out to be wrong about. I won't use that to say "that makes me town because if I was mafia, why would I put myself in the pool after being suspicious!" but the evidence is that I was, and probably am still, the most suspicious player going into D4 because of my opinion to go after Mutant. I wasn't the only one who held the sentiment, but I lead the charge, and that lead the mafia into placing me into the Nomination.

If you want to go after me, and put me to the hammer, then go ahead, because I will gladly use your actions to further my read of you. But let it be known, you specifically start to target me after I start to present my suspicions of you, which goes similarly to how you handled NoNK. Take it how you wish, but it's only furthering your suspicions.

Peace was a filler spot. Mutant provided his own reasoning for why he believed Peace was there, and honestly, I believe it too:

The idea that "Peace would've never survived" only held it's truth because of Onjit. Mutant was set on lynching me, until he heard that Onjit replaced out for being town. I am in no way using this to justify my own townness. But had it not been for that, Peace would have definitely survived, because I would have been the target of both Mutant and Crybaby's votes, as Crybaby did later vote for me that day.

I'm aware Mutant got lynched, and I've presented my case for why I felt like lynching Mutant was a necessity.

You're just trying to seed suspicion into me now and I'm not going to stand for it. I was never confident I was going to survive either votes. I'm taking my own stance of how I see things. If you want to push a lynch on me, go ahead. Stop playing this fence-sitting game you're going with. If you want me to flip during this nomination, then say it. I know exactly what I'll flip, and if you want to see that, then take your stance on it.

Now you aren't playing the fence-sitting game. But before you were. You were saying lies about my intentions in order to bring up suspicion about myself. You presented "What if?" situations and used that as the burning fire to your suspicions against me.

I presented my case, and how that related to previous games where you have been town, and how it correlates to now. And your response to it is a "What if?" situation, yet again, and then continuing on to simply say "Your arguments are weak." Why are you playing this game differently? What's your defense for fence-sitting most of the game and sheeping my opinion on Mutant?

I want to point out that I stated the reason for that BS comment before. I showed it off in my reads list. I was doing it specifically for a reaction. I've given out petty reasonings to various others in spite of showing off other more viable reasonings to have the juxtaposition hopefully give off a reaction. NoNK didn't give off a reaction I would have expected. That's the purpose of it, and if you want to take it another way then go ahead. But that's the initial intention I had. (Another example was overexaggerating a link between Mutant and Fuu to invoke a reaction out of Fuu).

Honestly tho, Taskmanager being drunk just made me think he's more town, because then if he's drunk he would reveal more stuff on accident, but he didn't so I just assumed it was more town.

Honestly I was more suspicious of Task because he kept discrediting the wagons, despite being part of them or showing support for them in any way.

If I had followed my intuition instead of believing Task was town because of the Nomination, we would've gotten him. Oh well.
