Red is not a number and it was ASDruska's fault that he referenced a color and ruined this Forum Game.

Re: name a fact abotu th enumber posted above

397 as a year

Year 397 (CCCXCVII) was a common year starting on Thursday (link will display the full calendar) of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Caesarius and Atticus (or, less frequently, year 1150 Ab urbe condita). The denomination 397 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years.

  • Stilicho drives the Visigoths out of south Greece and Macedonia. King Alaric I escapes to Epirus in the Balkans.

  • The Xiongnu occupy the Gansu area, the economically important province is situated along the Silk Road.

  • April 4 – Ambrose, Archbishop of Milan, dies in his diocese after 23 years in office during which he dominated the political life of the Roman Empire.

  • August 28 – Council of Carthage: The biblical canon is definitely declared.

  • September 7 – First Council of Toledo: Hispanic bishops, including Lampius, condemn Priscillianism.

  • November 13 – John Chrysostom is appointed Archbishop of Constantinople.

  • Mor Gabriel Monastery is founded and located on the Tur Abdin plateau near Midyat (Turkey).

  • Sulpicius Severus writes the earliest biography of Martin of Tours, the first known "life of a saint" ever written.

  • Augustine of Hippo begins his Confessions, an autobiography that recounts his intellectual and spiritual development.

  • Scottish missionary Ninian establishes a church (Candida Casa) at Whithorn, and begins his work among the Picts.

  • * March 30 or March 31 – K'uk B'alam I, king of Palenque (Mexico)

  • + April 4 – Aurelius Ambrosius, bishop of Milan

  • + November 8 – Martin of Tours, bishop and saint

  • + Murong Hui, imperial prince of Later Yan (b. 373)

  • + Murong Long, general and prince of Later Yan

  • + Empress She, wife of emperor Yao Chang

397 as a number

  • 397 is a prime number from 301-400. 397 has 2 factors, 1 and 397. It is the 78th prime number, and the sixteenth and last prime number from 301-400.

More

  • It's pronounced 'three hundred ninety-seven'

  • In Roman as a year, CCCXCVII

  • Binary: 110001101

  • It's an odd number

  • It has a representation as a sum of two squares: 6^2 + 19^2

  • It is the hypotenuse of a primitive Pythagorean triple: 397^2 = 228^2 + 325^2

  • It has the representation: 3 * 2^7 + 13

  • The number divides 34^3 - 1

  • The character code 397 is the symbol ƍ.

My Own Research about 397

It's a number 3 away from 400.

E: Forgot to add a number, lol.

Infinity multiplied by something, or even Infinity plus, minus something will still be Infinity.

Re: name a fact abotu th enumber posted above

Oddly, infinity is not a number, but just a concept because it breaks a lot of formulas.
For example, if I have the equation 5*infinity = infinity, and I divide both sides by infinity, I get 5 = 1, which isn't true. However, any number times infinity is infinity. So, 5*infinity = infinity should be a true statement.
Basically, infinity causes a contradiction in normal Math, so it's not a number, but more of an "almost a number".
