Old quotes have the old names too. You're more likely to fix these issues than Diff is.

Old quotes have the old names too.
That is due to the quotes quoting the username, not the the user id. DMs and posts have however the attribute of the poster's user id. I currently can't think of how the old name appears to be there.

Posts and PMs don't just store the ID, they store the name as well. Can avoid an extra join that way even though it doesn't actually avoid it in the end so who knows why.
But when the username is changed, the PM table isn't updated, least not currently

maby you an chnage that? for quotes i doesnt really matter sinc eyou can just edit it + the fact a quote chekcs whatever name i s put into the tag which hsoudl be kept so you can always use nonexistand namesin qutoes for refering to qutotes outside the forum
