What happened to forumify?

Seeing as how this was a long time ago (4-5 years best guess) and frankly I don't quite remember what happened last month, why was the domain changed from ee.forumify.com to forums.everybodyedits.com?
Chances are there is an old forum post about this. (and tbh I'm not quite sure this is in the correct sub-forum)

There's probably a good handful of posts about it. Short version from my PoV is that Cyclone gradually drifted away, forumify fell into disrepair and eventually stopped working, taking everything with it. A few users, Atilla and Meredith, somehow managed to convince the people hosting forumify to spit out its database. And they took over for a short little while. Glossing over that period of time, I took over and the EE people let me slide in under the everybodyedits.com domain.

Well that's a good enough resume for me. I arrived during the middle of forumify's lifetime so everything else was unclear for me. I should close this thread soon.

Forumify got transfered to eeforums then eventually the forums that we know today. Good old times my friend.
