Transparent = Invisible
Less Transparent = More visible

Not transparent = visible = you can actually see him, you actually see him doing something.

But transparent is that you can see through it, but you know it's there. Like a bottle, or some glass. You know it's there but you can see through it and see what's on the other side. That's what it was last time I checked
