Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Using self linking world portal shouldn't remove spec

When someone enters a world portal that links to a world portal spawn in the same world, their name is removed for a second before they respawn.  Maybe their name could fade while they warp, and should also auto re-spec onto them if you were spectating them.  I like to watch people play my worlds, but I have to keep respectating onto them every time they reach a world portal.

I mean, they are leaving the world when they use the world portal, so it's no wonder that they actually leave the world

But they're entering the same world, so why not treat it like a regular portal in this case?

In that case, why not just use regular portals, for portals that are supposed to move you around the same world? The world portal system is to be used within different worlds, not the same.

Self linking world portals have their uses, some of which were seen in this round of the contest.  For example, Musicman's casino level lets you bet coins, which can be won or lost, with the use of a world portal spawn system.  If you have 50 coins and bet 20 and lose them, entering a world portal spawns you with 30 coins.  A normal portal can't do this.

Then you have Thwink and Muffin's world where there's three sections of the map, where dying sets a platform where you fell, to be used as a puzzle element with the life limit of 9 per section.  Finishing a section takes you to a world portal, which brings you to the next section with all lives restored again.  And then my world has death gates that act as helping platforms if you die, making the section a little easier with each death, up to 3 (a fourth brings you to a game over room).  Upon reaching the next section with world portal, your lives are reset (unless you pick hard mode which is 3 allowed lives for the WHOLE world).

World portal spawns have plenty of same-world uses.  They can also be used as a portal and remove all effects at once, if desired, which can save space.  They're a portal that resets stats and effects.

goign in the world portal disconnect sthe entire person form the world therfore the game does not recognize him in the world anymore (sma elike DC or /kick) therfor spec cant spectate him anymore after a second they join back btu the game does not tknow it the same guy

EDIT this is i think the case because you get an id on join (first one to join is 1 2nd is 2 and if 1st leaves and comes back he gets 3)
