Well I don't actually play EE that much in the day, but I usually just keep a tab open with EE in it. That tab would disappear and it would still be pretty much the same. I suppose I would lose all my friends on EE that I don't have on skype or steam or anything, so that would be pretty bad.

Everybody Edits is the best game to creat new things without have to download, its too bad if the game be shut down.

That is not a definitive solution. You will need to hold computer on for 24/24h and only for EE because the data transfer   will be enormous(only if 1/3 original active users will come again). And before that you will need to save all users data but then you will have another problem how do you will know that's the user. So if you don't fix this problems then everyone will need to make an new acc.

I have a solution that will work 100% but will be laborious. If you want to do that just ask me on pm.

You seem to imply that I'd host it on my own network. There's hosting providers for that very reason.
There isn't that many active users at any given time.
I have a list of 800,000 registered users with identification through third parties.
I already have 100,000 worlds backed up, and those who are registered on the forums can be verified perhaps through email.
Those who use Facebook or Kongregate I can verify easily as well. Otherwise, that's what EEBackup was intended for.

Either way, I wouldn't really care because I mostly play other games by now *cough TF2 cough*. Some of the community members here are pretty nice, but there are other ways I can contact them.

Also, who says that the game would no longer exist? It's likely that they would keep it up instead of closing it completely. Don't you realize they make money off of this?

But if they don't make enough money then they can't afford to keep it up anymore, that's how it gets shut down.
