Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Move the "submit" button on top of the text box for phones

I understand there is a mobile version of forums, but it sucks and I like using the regular one
And it's pretty good, but sometimes I can't post anything because of the size of the textbox. Buttons are either covered by text or hidden completely because of several "new lines" in the text

Either fix this or move buttons on the top

Hidden text

Nah it looks fine.

Do not use your phones for anything then calling.

That looks like a browser bug to me... What browser / phone are you using?

this is so relatable
I've found sort of workaround for this, cut your typed up post, click "Post reply" and paste it here, it has a larger text field

Re: Move the "submit" button on top of the text box for phones

I know I like to blame a lot of things on Chrome but that's 100% on Chrome right there. A text area should not be overlapping other elements. Their whole approach of warping the layouts of desktop pages to mobile-ify them was doomed to failure from the start and I don't know why they haven't stopped already. Text re-wrapping/re-flowing was always the better approach.

Anyway, I'll dig into seeing if I can tell Chrome to lay off when it comes to the text area, sometimes they do include off switches for the stuff like that.

Could you give an example of another browser that does it?

Pretty much every browser that isn't Firefox is still just Chrome. Although Opera on Android does allow you to pick between this Font Boosting crap and text reflowing.

Yeah, browsers suck but can you move buttons above the textbox or something?
