team addition (EX: you have the blue team, if you pass into the red team addition, that just will add a team to you): 1wRVQVl.png

Wouldn't that make about as much sense as just using switches? Teams (AFAIK) interface as easily recognizable, distinct identifiers for doors/gates and the users that can enter them. Seems a bit detracting from the existing system to allow multiple. Just obscures things

Fair enough. I don't play this game enough to make a stance one way or the other about how important that would be, but I do recognize that you could make a way for that switch to only activate when you want it to, akin to the team color blocks.

This suggestion brings me a newfound respect for those folks who keep making smaller and/or more complicated switch reset contraptions.
