Diagonal Boost

Hello there sirs and sirettes, I would like to recommend a boost that boosts you diagonally. This would add new variation for jumps in EE.

▼1. Boot Up EE

You're going to want to begin by opening up Everybody Edits!

Now, stay with me, but there's two different major ways of doing this.

The first way is by opening up a new tab and entering in the link "https://everybodyedits.com/" (Or you can click that link I just provided)!

The second way of doing this is by double left-clicking EverybodyEdits.EXE (This is IF you have the EXE version installed.)

▼2. Login

After you have opened up Everybody Edits, you'll want to login with your username and password (make sure you never tell anyone what your login information is!!)

If you don't have an Everybody Edits account, you can simply create one by registering!

▼3. Open Up a World

Great job getting this far, but now for the tricky part. You'll want to find a designated world in which to place your diagonal boost in!!

As you can see here, I have chosen to use an empty "Great World 59". You can open it up by pushing the "Play" button.

▼4. Diagonal Boosts

Alright, you're almost there!! Now, once you're in the world that you have chosen, you'll want to place an "Up Boost Arrow" above the platform you are standing on.

Great!! Once that's done, you'll want to place a "(Right OR Left) Boost Arrow" directly above your first placed boost arrow. In this image, I'll be demonstrating a "Right Boost Arrow" being placed.

▼5. Play Test It!!

It's the final step - testing to see if everything works as planned. If you followed the previous steps thoroughly, you shouldn't have a problem testing it!

Now, you'll want to get on either side of the two boost arrows that you have placed, and you'll want to run into the bottom boost arrow (DO NOT JUMP!!). If done correctly, you should be blasted through the sky in the direction that you've put your top boost arrow in (Rather it be Right or Left.)

I know most of these are joke posts, but placing a left/right boost above a up boost seems to be pretty inconsistent.

I don't know if this is different when you hold left/right keys, but if you just stand still and use arrows into the boosts:

You actually alternate between two distances every time you hit them, a little less than half a block.

I know this doesn't mean anything for the vast majority of its uses, but it isn't bad to want some consistency. Diagonal boosts might be different because they would be performing both actions at the same time.

Sorry to break it to you, but upwards boosts do the exact same thing (although they alternate between a larger number of heights, over about the same range though)
