This has probably been posted on a thread before but i can’t find it due to the bad search engine, anyway can the "last edited by" message that pops up whenever you edit your post be a little bit more visually appealing? I almost always need to edit some small mistake on my posts and then that super ugly message pops up at the bottom and my edit which was supposed to fix any spelling errors and streamline the message now has the opposite effect as it looks like my post was written by an imbecile with questionable/tasteless design preferences.

I mean, just look at it down there. EW

Mods/admins have the ability to silent edit, I think everyone else should too. Tbh what’s the point of seeing when a post was last edited?

Mods/admins have the ability to silent edit, I think everyone else should too. Tbh what’s the point of seeing when a post was last edited?

So that if somebody tries quoting somebody, the person can't go back and edit their post to make the later poster lool like an idiot.  If you're the last commenter, there is no need for it, imo.

what if the poster is allowed to silent edit on the first 5-10 minutes after submitting the post? just for the sake of fixing visual/spelling mistakes
