Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Set background to a block.

Title says it all.

By default the background is already set to a version of the basic block background or something, but we can't set it to any other block, we can only change the colour of the background.

Reason for saying this is because peace wants to build some sort of medieval world with the garden pack grass background... his world is massive.

It will just be so much easier than just having to place each background.

yes just a /fill command to fill entire world with a block type alternatviely you can find ways to quickly fill your world but still..

Re: Set background to a block.

You could always use a bot to do this, although it would be useful to have it built in. Maybe as parameters for the clear command, as iirc the server already supports an edge and fill block for low grav worlds (although iirc not BG currently)

juist /fill (id) *fills the whole world (exept boarders) wiht that block/bg IF it exist and you have it it doesnt work for worl dportals cakes holograms and NPc's

EDIT: /fill 0 will just clear the world altought /clear shoudl stay

I suggest a command: /fill (tile ID)
It could fill the entire world with that tile, but on four conditions:
- The tile must exist
- You must own said tile
- Cannot be a limited item (world portals, NPCs, etc.)
- Will never fill the world’s border

Why make a new command when we already have one though? /clear [fill fg, [edge fg, [fill bg, [edge bg]]]] would do exactly the same and wouldn't lead to confusion with multiple commands for the same thing
