Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

lynch HG

as you all know, getting the 700000th post ID was a fierce battle. however, HG **** it up by creating two threads with the IDs of 699999 and 7000001 and deleting them in a very short timespan. which has led to the fact that 700000th post simply does not exist. not even diff knows where did it go or who is the lucky creator of that post. thus, i say that we witchhunt and ultimately execute HG for his WRONGDOINGS.

Re: lynch HG

I only pressed Submit twice, first for 699999, then second for 700001, as soon as I saw the ID of the first post, then at the same time deleted 699999.

The true one to have messed up is the one who tried to post right between those. But as the period was too short, we don't know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i have made an attempt to post in the 699999, but by the moment i clicked submit the thread was already deleted
how much time passed between creation of threads 699999 and 700001?

Re: lynch HG

According to the request log, you tried to post exactly 3 seconds after I tried to delete the topic, and 1 second after it was successfully deleted.

But according to Diff, it's still impossible that your attempt could alter the ID. It's still unknown what could cause this mess, but we're both responsible for it, as we were the only active users during that period.

Re: lynch HG

We should automatically ban HG when the post counter gets close to 800000, and maybe even 777777.

Why would you delete 699999? That's better than 700000
