Will there be a user cleanup?

There are many accounts in EE that haven't been touched in years, some maybe alts for evading bans.
What I'm asking is if there will be a cleanup (banning, deleting) of the accounts? Like, the admins go through their user database, and check their stuff? (last time active, average playtime, SOME chatlogs)

(I'm asking this because sometimes someone may try to make an account, but their username is taken by a inactive account)

so you're suggesting ee clears all usernames despite the fact that thousands of platforms in this modern era, including ee, have built-in "username is taken" functionality? i don't see you complaining about a username being taken by a facebook account

I doubt the staff would delete user accounts, but if there is a username that you or anyone would like it may be obtainable under certain circumstances. Consider contacting ByteArray ([email protected]), Showpath ([email protected]) or Xenonetix ([email protected]) to inquire about it. Any username change will cost 50 Gems though.

I doubt the staff would delete user accounts, but if there is a username that you or anyone would like it may be obtainable under certain circumstances. Consider contacting ByteArray ([email protected]), Showpath ([email protected]) or Xenonetix ([email protected]) to inquire about it. Any username change will cost 50 Gems though.

i guess ee needs to check thier ip too and allow users to permanently remoe their account like on fb ee then should store deleted accoutnd fors a week orso for if u acidentaly remoed ur acc or if a hacker did

imo it's completely ok to delete accounts that weren't online since 2010, have 200/200 energy, no items bought, etc.

They are completely useless. Making Playerobject database more filled with waste

hmm i think that if an acount hasnt logged in for over 2 years the name can be taken and the user will get a name chnage for free

I guess EE needs to check their IP too and allow users to permanently remove their account like on FB EE, then should store deleted accounts for a week or so, if you accidentally removed your account or if a hacker did
why check IP, there's no point; I don't remember being able to delete my account permanently on Facebook EE?; ok, delete an account, and store it for a week. what? did you mean move it to a different table?; hackers can't delete your account nowadays (I miss 2010)

Please no. I have a few old accounts that I haven't logged into in years simply because I lost the password and access to the email associated with them but they still have worlds on them from 2011.

Please no. I have a few old accounts that I haven't logged into in years simply because I lost the password and access to the email associated with them but they still have worlds on them from 2011.

if they have worlds with content, they should be safe
