Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

gravity physics inconsistency

Ev092LM.png
these 4 are the same mini just rotated sideways or played with sideways gravity effect
only the encircled one is possible though, in other cases the player tries to jump (if you hold space and A or W key, depends on gravity direction) and fails
plsfix

Re: gravity physics inconsistency

I'm pretty sure this is because of the way EE does the physics, it calculates one direction at a time so one has to be done first, leading to an inconsistancy between directions.

I guess if UnitEE is a thing (or whatever is replacing it) then they might be able to write the physics in that so these sorts of things don't happen, but I don't think there is any chance of it being fixed in the current version without completely rewriting most of it //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/sad

if anyone needs an explanation why it does it - here.

If you process both at the same time this happens (showcase):  4:48 - 5:05
Technical stuff (explanation): 0:15 - 6:00

Re: gravity physics inconsistency

If EE had consistent physics, many existing levels would be broken; it is surprising how many levels rely on the brokenness of physics.
