y = x * 25 + (x * 25) ^ 2
y = x * 25 + x^2 + 50x + 625

um (x*25)(x*25)=x^2+625 its not (x+25)(x+25) so u dont times them all by each other

y = 25x + (25x)²

625x² + 25x - y = 0

Discriminant = b² - 4ac = 625-4*625*y = 3*625*y = 1875y

( -b +- D's Root ) : 2a = ( -25 +- √1875y) : 1250

x1 = (-25 + 25*√(3y)) : 1250 = 25(√(3y) - 1) : 1250 = 50(√(3y) - 1)
x2 = (-25 - 25*√(3y)) : 1250 = -25(√(3y) + 1) : 1250 = -50((√3y) + 1)

y = x * 25 + (x * 25) ^ 2
y = x * 25 + x^2 + 50x + 625

is this right? y=25x+625x^2
625x^2+25x=0
(-25+(625-2500))/1250=-1.52

x1 = (-25 + 25*√(3y)) : 1250 = 25(√(3y) - 1) : 1250 = 50(√(3y) - 1)
x2 = (-25 - 25*√(3y)) : 1250 = -25(√(3y) + 1) : 1250 = -50((√3y) + 1)

umm that doesnt apparently work
use a functions grapher like this one to check your result
enter all of the three functions, if it's correct then you will see that the X1= and X2= functions will overlap with Y= function.

heres my result, i did it the same way as you (through discriminant)

X1 = (-1 - sqrt(1+4y))/50
X2 = (-1 + sqrt(1+4y))/50

you seemingly made a mistake somewhere and this line is where most likely it is:

Discriminant = b² - 4ac = 625-4*625*y = 3*625*y = 1875y

omg im so stupid i forgot about the y. would the y count as the c in the -4ac? in the end i got              -1+-sqrt(1-4y)

in a quadratic equation, everything that isnt multiplied by x is part of c. so yes

lol its not hard latif just substitute stuff in for -b+-sqrt(b^2-4ac) with y=ax^2+bx+c
