Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

demod diff

Yes, it's the day when we revolt against our master
This topic has been locked absolutely unjustly

locked for being a muftwin topic

What kind of reasoning is that? THAT is discrimination at it's purest.
We have to fight the oppression before nazi mods completely take over the forums

Re: demod diff

Whenever something gets banned or locked for clearly stretching the rules, somebody ends up complaining and insisting that it didn't break the rules. (Which I did a lot in chat rooms, actually.) This topic represents pretty well what somebody would normally post in a situation like this.

Re: demod diff

The topic which Diff closed was pretty much spam, also useless. He just made a small joke because Muftwin is making lots of topics so you shouldn't take it seriously.

What do you mean stretching the rules or breaking the rules? Please tell me which rules have been violated by the mentioned topic
"Lock Muftwin topics" is not a rule that I know of. Besides, why the other "Muftwin topics" weren't locked? Double standards? There is something sinister behind all of this.

Oh boy I'm dead serious.

The terms "spam" and "useless" in this case are very subjective. Put yourself in Muftwin's place, how would you feel if your allegedly useless spam topics got locked?
How would you feel if he locked your topic just for the sake of a small joke when you expected people to have high quality discussion in it?

Re: demod diff

What if some newb finds out about this great game called EE, but doesn't know how to place blocks? Well he goes on the forums for help ofc.

And what should be the first thing that he sees on those forums? - a helpful topic explaining how to edit, asked by someone else in the same position as him; someone who he can now relate to and bond with over this shared experience of confusion. Someone who can make him feel comfortable and welcome, someone who can help him integrate into the community and become a valuable member to the game. Someone he can look up to, not as a good friend or an older brother, but as a father. Someone he can love.

...

Logical conclusion: Diff wants EE to die and he's killing it by using his dictatorship over the forums to make it unwelcoming to new players.

Alright, I'll take the bait.

Muftwin is saturating the forum with low-quality topics. Some of these are spammy enough to get locked, and it's a lot more disruptive than your typical Spam (Minor) which we ban users for all the time. Also, Muftwin has done this before and has been involved in some of those weird Mirin Squad shenanigans on the forum. I think some compromise could be taken between targetting Muftwin and demodding Different.

Like I said, Muftwin's behavior is a lot more noticable than Spam (Minor) which users are banned for all the time.

Ten topics are easier to come across and be annoyed by than a single post.
