Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

This Idea was suggested earlier.

Re: Smiley Border

This would be possible if the Gold smiley borders were hard-coded.

You'll be surprised by the horrible implementation of a second smiley set with gold borders on the smilies image.

They are "hard-coded" onto the smiley which is bad. It should be an overlay like when you're in god mode.

Instead of EE having a row of normal smilies and another row of GM smilies, they should have the one row and have the smiley border images in a different file and just simply overlay the border image on top of the smiley.

(Not sure if that's what you're talking about or not.)

Re: Smiley Border

Don't think they would... I guess there would be smileys without borders (I guess a thick black border), then borders for each that could be recoloured

Although technically the way they do it currently is the best way to do it, as for either way you'd need two images per smiley, and if you had seperate borders, there would need to be two images drawn per player rather than one

Re: Smiley Border

I have added it in my game already. Sadly I was not interested to host it, so the game was never released.

I actually don't like the tree too. I wanted to scrap it, but Kentiya adjusted it and added it to the game.

EDIT: Also what the **** please stay on topic

Most smileys share the same border shape so there's no need to have two for every smiley.

Re: Smiley Border

Ignore what I said before, you could do it with some 'border shape' property of smileys, I guess I must have been tired when I wrote that post or something //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue
