Hello people, my nickname ingame is Simontuti and i would like to talk about the very old EE days CHAT COST. I am very sure all of us would like a refund since chat became free, or at least an exchange.
Please do not ignore this message as we descuss about real money that now is kinda stolen. The idea I became with is that, if you have a specific package buyers list (in this case chat package), select everyone from that list and give in them ingame, in the next update, the same amount of money payed in GEMS. My second idea is that you could add CUSTOM COLOR chat for the same price chat cost in early EE.

How about you don't advertise your forum topic on EE like a noob.

Also chat cost $0.01 or came free with beta. There's nothing to refund.

tbh I don't think it came with beta

but at the same time I don't think they charged anything that would be remotely considered an obligatory refund. IIRC when shoe made the chat $3, he included more gems than the $3 should have netted. In other words, after that deal you owed the game money lol.

And otherwise one cent is too trivial to refund

though it would be interesting if we went back to charging for chat

I read most of the replies. Most. Do point out if I repeat this:

EE uses the unlimited PlayerIO plan. One of the things that comes with this, is that for every transaction, PIO takes 3 cents. Chris even said that when he made the blog post. Chat: 1 cent. PIO takes: 3 cents. Whenever someone bought chat, Chris lost 2 cents. And you complain about your 1 cent? Go away.

Then the solution is clear. If they want to get the 1 cent refund they must pay 3 cents.

also people have been complaining about this for years. im pretty sure EE is already in the hole financially so refunding everyone's chat would really add up and put whoever the hell owns this game now into more debt

Laugh all you want. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and i couldn't afford the treatment because of my mistake when i was a young misguided teen. I had only 899.98$ and couldn't afford the treatment all because of this chat transaction. Losing one cent is no joke.
