Why do people even take this hierarchy thing seriously. It is just TaskManager's opinion, and if you completely disagree you can make your own hierarchy and put yourself at the top.

ok so here's a template of my EE hierarchy thus far and as you can see it isn't "EE Forums Hierarchy"... it's just "EE Hierarchy".

This hierarchy will be based on the top veterans of the community, as well as well-known peeps.

If you wanna sign up to be a part of this hierarchy just quote this message and please state what standing you would like to be in (Me and the boys back in the lab are still decided what the roles of the hierarchy will be, but you can help decide some names for them!)

Also provide some good reasoning as to why you think you'd properly fit into that standing. I'll be deciding if you do or not, and if I decide you don't, you'll be placed into the garbage bin and you won't want that <3.

This is not enough to be classified as a "Hierarchy".
You see, a hierarchy is such a vast and complex term that no one will successfully define correctly.

How can you define one self status, on a forum/game?
What authority one does have on this forum?
Is being part of staff a form of power thus of higher authority?

By that logic, we are all on the same step, and the management team are one step ahead.
But you seem to rank the community based on their experience and age inside that community, in short - Age = Veterancy?

I don't think that makes any sense to be fair. My view on this whole ordeal is that there is no real hierarchy on this forum as we cannot define a legitimate form of power and influence, we can merely assume and class them approximately by one's feelings and thoughts.
