Bring Back Laika reeeeeeeee

Apparently Toop was the main roadblock during the last push to bring back Laika, so now that he's left I figured it'd be a good time for the revival of this topic.

Space pack & the Laika smiley were introduced in 2012 to honor a soviet space dog. https://everybodyedits.wordpress.com/2012/09/07/space/

later ee staff's erasure of that is & was weird.

i'd settle for a new dog smiley w/ a space helmet

Plenty of smileys have been altered looks-wise, never had an issue with that.

I just don't see why a name change was necessary. It wasn't exactly a minor thing, there was an entire update dedicated to this dog, and at the time people were making dedication worlds. It was really sweet to see. Weird thing to get change later on.

I just don't see why a name change was necessary.

I always wondered why it was called Laika, I just never cared to ask.

I'm guessing the name change was because the new dog looked nothing like Laika, so it wouldn't really make sense for it to still be called Laika
