Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

General Rules
1. All forum rules apply, however multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue.
2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted.
3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.
4. If you stay inactive too long or not contributing to discussion , you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours.
5. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying what your role is or does, but don't copy paste an entire role pm word for word.
6. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.
7. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.
8. You may not talk about the game with living players through any means other than the game thread and Mafia night chat. No exceptions.
9. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.
10. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.
11. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to save until the end of the game as to not interfere with the game.

i explained it earlier, read posts
Oh, I thought you were referring to Processor in that post. I take back what I said.

so you arent against me voting you?
Unless you somehow manage to get everybody riding on your bandwagon based on a tiny sample of evidence, it's not a huge concern for me. But that won't happen. Maybe. We still have 23 more hours of suspicious activity to observe.

Bimps [1] - Processor
I though Processor's vote was a joke since he didn't properly format it and his post seemed kind of hyperbolic.
derp clearing proc as town
What do you mean by this?

Something that helps the town? That's what you're supposed to be doing. Unless you're Mafia, of course. Either you're an oblivious good guy, or a Mafioso trying to keep quiet.

n1kf you're pushing for no apparent reason day one. if anything you're trying too hard... suspicious! :3
He Like I noted in my original post, he didn't seem to be too aware that he should be helping us try to find the Mafia. This is day 1, so it's a good idea to note any suspicions you have. Then he continued goofing off even after I pointed it out.
If he doesn't say anything helpful all day, I say we lynch him if we don't find anybody else more suspicious.

Mafia is luck. There's no guaranteed "tells" or any proven methods that promise wins. Killing D1. Not killing D1. It doesn't matter. There's no best way to play. Don't believe what anyone tells you. Be yourself. Stay hydrated. Don't leave the faucet running. Read page 86 of the rulebook. Keep it cool.
You could argue the same thing for all competitive multiplayer games with hidden knowledge. Pretty much all games with cards, for example. But in almost all cases, strategy helps balance it out so that there are indeed techniques that players at an advantage.

I don't have much time to study this before I have to go for now, but I must say that Gosha doesn't look like he's being very productive.
Also I suck at mafia because I am bad in discussions :\
Just explain who you think is part of the Mafia and why.

How do I take back my vote? Is that even possible? If it is, then I take it back. The comment I made when I originally voted maxi123 no longer applies, so let's shake things up a little:
Gosha, what's your role? Tell me or I'll probably vote for you.

As a sidenote, I don't like how Kira is being so ominous and quiet. As cool as the gritty Batman-esque in-the-shadows type of persona is, it ain't helpin' us much.
N1KF wrote:Gosha, what's your role? Tell me or I'll probably vote for you.
Good mafia player over here
I'm a bad Mafia player? Let's recap all of the things you've done:
saing you're new/bad at playing
claiming you're not part of the Mafia, and attempting to guilt trip us into not lynching you
admitting you like to keep silent
and just now, snarking at me when you're on your very last leg
You haven't helped out the town at all. The only thing that would have made me change my mind at all is if either:
you somehow gave us strong evidence to suggest you're not a Mafioso
(more likely) you revealed you have a power role that's useful for the town.
You have given us no reason to believe you're not part of the Mafia. Even after I gave you two chances, you blew it. I don't have the patience for this. Time's up, Gosha.

Sometimes the best way is to stay quiet, It's day 1, I chose [not] to reveal too much right off the bat. Get to know who you're dealing with then strike.
If you're part of the town, you have nothing to hide. Well, besides power roles, but that isn't very hard to do since power roles have the same agenda as regular citizens. And mentioning a "strike" implies you have an aggressive role. Either that, or you're just using clumsy language.
Either way, I don't like the vibes Kira is rubbing off on me.

It's time for...the daily Scale-o'-Scumminesss! Let's check out our players and see how well they fared in Day 1 by N1KF's inexperienced Mafia judgement.
I will update my thoughts as I consider the implications of Night 1.

Okay seriously Processor you've given us enough hints by now. Maxi consistently criticized you throughout Day 1, and he ended up dead the very next night.

I think his "Smitty is town" post was a ploy. If he was lynched, and turned out to be mafia, town would lynch Smitty thinking he was also mafia.
You also have to keep in mind that Smitty didn't respond at all to Proc's claims that Smitty is innocent. Even after Maxi pointed it out, it was just kind of ignored throughout Day 1.

Processor is definitely the shady one out of everyone.
Says the person who intentionally acted mysterious and ominous the day before. If you're trying to bring my attention off of you, you're failing.

Kira wrote:Processor is definitely the shady one out of everyone. He repeatedly asked people to lynch Gosha, however, he was probably aware of the fact that Gosha was part of town and used his 'beginner sarcasm' as an excuse to lynch him and trick his surroundings into voting for him.
It's not like Processor got 7 votes by himself
To my surprise it seems that Devlin was actually the first to suggest that Gosha is slightly suspicious. Then Proc completely rolls with it and votes Gosha without explaining why. Then on his next post, he invites everybody to lynch Gosha. Then he constantly insists that Gosha is part of the Mafia and should be lynched, without any hesitation. The bandwagon goes nowhere until Zumza and the rest finally start to jump on.
That bandwagon took a lot of energy to get moving. It's almost as if Processor knew he could get a townie lynched if he pushed hard enough. Processor was like "HEY LET'S LYNCH GOSHA RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW LET'S MOVE IT GO GO GO!" when nobody else really cared.

Why would I question my own alignment? As long as people believe I'm good I should be worried about who's mafia.
Because Processor was oddly insistent? He was acting as if it was absolute truth, and he wasn't explaining why even after asked by maxi (who died the following night, by the way). JaWapa may actually be right at this point that he's trying to get you lynched. But you're still defending Processor so I'm still suspicious of you.
