Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

what I'm suggesting is a helping process for actually making ee great again.
this suggests that there are new type of players which aren't actually players. they're bots that act as players.
If a new user joins ee when it has 100 players he'll feel disappointed and lonely and will prob be another member of the "THIS gAME SI DEAD"
but if you add a lot of bot-players it will have a feeling like the game actually has active players. The trick is to make these bots as nub-like as possible but not extremeley noobish, as we don't want our bot-players to unoriginal worlds to fill the lobby, if that's the case that would only be backwards and the game would feel even deader to someone who actually starts playing it.
If this step is made out well you can just add other stuff to keep the game good like frequent but good updates, better lobby, everythingElseThat'sBadWhichIsMoreThanHalfOfTheGameCurrently, and you're well on your way to easily make this game popular.

I thought you meant "great" as in that certain positive meaning of great and not "filled with bots"! I'm not sure if it's gonna help if only players who already play EE will notice there are more "players" in the lobby and such? I think it's mostly about the gameplay of EE itself, not the amount of players.

yeah I said add up the other stuff that keeps the game alive like making gameplay better
edit: plus if this step is made good enough you couldn't tell the difference if someone is a bot or just drunk, especially on worlds with a lot of players. When ther're a lot of people you wouldn't care about induviduals you will just think "well that's just the mentality here"

Rip I read too fast and over-read stuff. It might work, I mean, we could try anything to make EE more popular.

I recall slither.io used to employ a similar strategy. Many did not notice but almost half the players there were actually bots!
I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

I think this could work. Only problem would be is coding the path finding, bots can't exactly be expected to do complex jumps.

I think machine learning or what it's called neural network can do it? idk, I am not a programmer
