Why're there many guests?

Why is it always ~ 5 online guests/1 online user?

Lots of bans or people just like to browse anon or 3rd party bots?

I guess quite a few people probably cant be bothered to sign in if they dont have stay signed in selected, maybe if the're on a shared computer or something

Probably that. As far as I know, there aren't isn't any security stopping spambots from browsing the forum as a guest.

Well for a while there a couple months back we had a stretch where there were zero guests. I was surprised so I asked diff what he broke but sounds like we literally had no bots.

But yeah, bots, or something.
