Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Like really. Why are Americans like "I can only vote these two."?

This might help explain a bit.

The Democratic party, the tolerant party.

The Democratic party, the "you're a **** retard if you didn't vote for us" party.

Re: Post-election party thread!

Hi I just wanted to say we should maybe stop attacking pther people and stop and think for a while.
I think it's not only the US but also Europe with very devided people. And I think this is a good reason to think instead of blindly attacking the people you hate so much (for a good reason maybe) and try to understand them because they're also people woth brains(Strange I know).
It seems like some trump supporters think all liberals(not sure if Im using the right word) are whiny and some liberals think trump supporters are huge racists. And that's understandable because those are the people you will remember. Not the people supporting something for an actual good reason because that's boring.
Also by hating your opponent you're only proofing them they're right because you're an ****. So please talk(kindly) with eachother and respect eachother's oppinion and maybe we can realise we may all be a little be right or you can convince your opponent you're actually 100% right.

Remember we're all people and we all love our family and friends and want the best for the world(I hope) //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile
Peace

Re: Post-election party thread!

I've never bothered to comment on political threads for this election, however considering it's already finished, I'll weigh in.

The only redeeming trait for this presidency is the potential for Hillary to be imprisoned.
This presidency is a direct result of Hillary's psychological condition; a constant state of entitlement- her feeling she's owed the presidency.

It's of little surprise that she had been chosen given the corruption within the democratic committee.
They knew what the outcome would be as Hillary abandoned her (already insignificant, given her past-) base, and they proceeded to nominate her regardless.

Despite the damage that may occur economically under a Trump presidency, there's potential for much needed Democratic reformation.

The next generation of progressives will most likely, as a result of this election, gain the political power that has been stolen by the loyalist Democratic hacks.
At the very least, the neoconservatives will fall, and it will be an almost unprecedented turning point.

Re: Post-election party thread!

Well racism won the election. If you want to win as president here are things you can say
1. other countries are bad and immigrants here to do bad stuff and we shall immigrate all of them
2. Lets increase our military and lower taxes
3. Insult other races and countries and make them look like terrorist and say we will build a wall
4. reveal only bad history about your competition

3 explanations for this behavior.
1. You're surrounding yourself with idiots/children.
2. You have intelligent people in your periphery but the idiots/children are louder.
3. They have a good argument but you're selectively hearing it and misrepresenting it here.

Personally I do believe if you understand how the voting system works and you decided to vote for Trump, then in the best case scenario you prioritize national security and quasi-conservative economics over human rights and liberty, which I'm pretty sure there's a famous Benjamin Franklin quote about which ends in "you deserve neither liberty nor safety".

(For giggles, the worst case scenario is you're an explicit xenophobe/homophobe/racist/sexist/ableist/et al).

Call it "**** retarded", call it misplaced priorities, call it white privilege; they're all saying the same thing with different degrees of political correctness. And that is: Trump voters' reasoning is flawed and the consequences of this flawed reasoning are endangerment to American lives and ideals.

The difference between this and your quote is that I don't care whether or not you voted for Clinton, but considering the current system doesn't really give third-parties a fighting chance, she's your only other option.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Re: Post-election party thread!

I thought this was a party thread! Don't bring salt to a party.

I for one look forward to Trump meeting with world leaders. I wonder if in a few months everything he says in public will have been written for him by his advisors, so that he doesn't e.g. make a joke about world war II or the holocaust and offend everyone who didn't vote for him.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.
