Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: MEGATHREAD No Unity support for Chrome;HTML5 support small;EE p2p??

Today we might have found out that EE will be pay to play  in the near future? Aswell unity wont be available on chrome!

We reach out to EE devs for an answer. To you NVD

What about Flash? If I recall correctly, some browsers require users to download Flash. Although that's still a valid argument, it's not a new problem.

It looks like there will need to be additional software installed--maybe even Steam. Since submitting games on Steam will cost money for the developers, while a very small chance, EE might cost money to play

Are you kidding me . Ofcourse it costs money for the devs BUT i doubt that EE might cost money. It will be P2W like it always has been

EDIT: Actually scrap that P2W. it has been cosmetic like it has always been

Of course EE will not cost money to play. EE has always been a free-to-play game and it'll stay like that forever. No need to worry about that. EE will also be marked as a free-to-play game on Steam if we release it on that platform.

EDIT: next we should put NOU , NVD , TOOP , MASTER1, THANEL ,DIFFERENT55  ,ZOEY DRAMA in the title

As Hexagon has gone can staff edit the OP so it isn't just making people worried:
• As stated multiple times: there will be no unity embedding, it will use a canvas element - no issues
• HTML5 support is huge, HTML5 is about 2 years old and has finished the transition process - what EE needs is supported by all.
• JavaScript will run a little slower than a game client because it is in the browser but JavaScript will run a lot faster than Flash, people will only experience a much improved performance.

alright but who's worried about that? Does the PlayerIO client itself survive being exported to JS?

Isn't the timeframe of Unity 2017 and the timeframe of playerio.js 2016?

If you're talking about PlayerIO's official html5 support then the only timeframe I've ever heard was "soon"
