Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I don't particularly care about anyone here but seeing these huge lists of recognizable names make me finally realize that ee is nothing like it was years ago.... It's easy to forget when your focus is on those still here and with exception the newbies. The irc is fine but I feel that I log into the game only to maintain my record of owning all the items (available with energy of course). If Unity/Steam doesn't fix this I'll need to call it quits

There's probably more but I have a horrible memory.

Same. Tako started League of Androids and got me to learn coding so I owe him. He was a good mod too until Diff hijacked the forums.
I saw him playing KO Creepy Cavern a few months ago but it was nothing special. Just another vet checking annually on ee.
Y'all are making me real emotional right now. This game was, believe it or not, my source of social interaction during a very turbulent and extremely formative part of my life. This is where I developed my writing skills and discovered my love for teaching, computer science, and art. This is not to mention the complete 180-degree turn I made in terms of politics and religion. Hell, when I started posting I was a vocal opponent of gay rights. Now, I'm like a 7 on the Kinsey Scale. (this website did not make me gay, I'm just saying how stupid I was when I started)
Anyway, I miss you three especially, but I decided that I wanted a degree in Computer Science, and that I would fund it with a job. Even if I had enough physical hours in the day to enjoy this community like I used to, I don't know if I'd have enough mental capacity for it.
Oh, and I guess I should contribute to the topic as well. Rurigok, Twipply, Supadorf24, and Bash were the most influential people during my time here, the rest I admired but never really knew. And this will sound weird but I'm sad that Benjaminsen abandoned his own game; I feel like he should have focused on it more and developed it in his image instead of sending the community into literal anarchy as a succession of almost-owners took it in their own directions. Of course there are many others but it's been a while so I can't think of them right now, nor do I know if they're still active.
P.S. Smitty, I was the BEST mod, don't you forget it. I had big goals for LOA but you know how rarely these things work out. It was also very experimental, giving each member a considerable degree of freedom. I think the flaw was that there was little incentive to actually produce things so we all just sat around making novelty bots.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

This is too relatable smh
I think this game had a significant impact on all of our lives I think, even if you feel like it's just a flash game, the multiplayer aspect really shapes your life especially for those who played in their adolescent years.
I think the reason we're all sad that you, Tako, and so many other people have left is because it's like losing contact with a close friend. We name people who have literally affected our choices and lifestyle in physical reality. I think it's so cool how people are literally going into fields of work and finding passions that they may have never found without the help of the people on EE.
