I got hacked...

So...
I downloaded the snake bot...
I runned the programm...

I am an idiot...
Everything got changed. From EE to google (already got that one back).
Thats the reason I made an alt.

I hope some guys can give some info on how to remove this damm thing... Cause I know. Its still running I think...

Also please lock my main forum account and change the email back if possible. - MartenM incase the 2 wasnt obvious.

didn't your parents ever tell you to not download suspicious files get MalwareBytes or something to detect it

I always forget not to trust these derpish bots floating around the community. I think I've been lucky enough so far. maybe we need a disclaimer somehow. dunno. Main thing is to avoid password/e-mail/username re-use

Similar thing happened to me the other day... Although my acc didn't get hacked (I think) :o
I downloaded a snake bot from a world i was in,
next day all my files got encrypted by JagerDecryptor...
I searched a little bit on google, found a forum and they said they finished analyzing it aaand it's not decryptable.
It's quite embarrassing but just wanted to share to remind people to not download random bots from random worlds

I was like... Its an EE bot. What can happen. It only had the playerIO.dll (**** forgot you can change the names of those things)....

Starting the bot was enough to get me hacked. I didnt eve connect it.

I don't think a simple script like that would trip anything. It's just making an inocuous script somewhere else

Whoa, I scanned it with AVG. Nothing got detected. I'm a total idea yet

There are plenty of people on the forum willing to look through a bot for you and tell you if it's malicious.

Better yet learn to code your own

well theres no perfect antivirus that will catch any virus in any program, im using virustotal because it scans the file with dozens of different antiviruses

BTW, go for bots that have the source available - like my snake bot.

Also, the botter probably didn't have any virus scripts in the bot - just put the email and password into a database on a server; this wouldn't have alerted any anti-virus software.
Be sure to report the person who sent you the bot.

Btw, someone is saying it's me that spreading around info and that it was me that made it.
I won't do it. If I was so bad, I could have infected around 1000 people right now. Or even more with EEDitor.

Dude, just download the bot and run it. I haven't even connected it. I did not put any of my info in the connect boxes.

Better yet learn to code your own

Because I code bots im always very intrested in other bots... That's the reason I downloaded the bot...

Uhm, at what time was that? I already changed my password yesterday thanks to NVD (its morning for me atm). If it happend after my password change... I must change it again...

He probably injected a virus that's stealing your data. Get an anti virus and scan your PC immediately.

Already did. AVG removed some things and maleware bytes got a file as well. Im still scared though.

Atm my PC is also struggeling with internet. Can't even get to google deu to a DNS error...

Did that but nothing happend. Changed my whole pc back to 1 day before I started that damm thing. (system recovery)

Am I safe now?

Btw does somebody know who is at this time most on the forums of the EE admins? I would like to recover my EE account (again).
