Other than that the rest of the guidelines for this topic should be obvious, follow the forums rules, etc.

-A: For this contest you can, as long as you don't use a bot to copy it to your final world.

▼Some examples of what to do:

-Beach, Seafloor/Coral Reef, Coastal, Cruise ship / Nautical theme, and more. Some themes that stray from this can still be accepted, if you are unsure PM me.

▼Some examples examples of what NOT to do

Anything snowy, generic landscapes that can be attributed to other seasons [like a meadow/farm with a mountain in the background], specific events like Independence day or other holidays, volcanoes, aliens / sci-fi, spooky monsters, generic city, and more.

-Q: How do I submit my level? And how do I know it has been successfully submitted?
-A: Submit your worlds in the contest rules topic by posting your team credentials you used to register in a new post, there is a template near the bottom of the first post. Teams that have successfully submitted their worlds will be indicated by green underlined text in the teams list on the second post of the rules/registration topic.

Do NOT use the campaigns for difficulty reference, they are inconsistant and don't follow many of the difficulty/gameplay guidlines in this contest.

Why have campaign difficulties in the first place if you admit yourself theyre inconsistent? Whats the logic in that?

Yes.

Do NOT use the campaigns for difficulty reference, they are inconsistant and don't follow many of the difficulty/gameplay guidlines in this contest.

Why have campaign difficulties in the first place if you admit yourself theyre inconsistent? Whats the logic in that?

Because of the way campaigns are implemented, they don't seem have as thorough as a process of judging as a contest such as this would.

Wanted to change things up this time, I'm trying a new judging method that should be more organized.

Why not just have the form be called "world link" and not "world ID"? It seems kind of misleading.

It might be helpful to do it that way, I'll try it out.

Hey can we not complain a bunch about the judging this time? Last time there were a bunch of people salty that they didn't win and decided to blame the judges. So please try to lose with some dignity, it's not like complaining is going to change the results.

Thank you guys for including a detailed explanation of your expectations this time!
Should be easier to get the correct difficulty and theme this time
(something many people, self included, had a problem with last contest).
Good luck to all participating teams!

I was supposed to be judging this contest but I'll be away during the judging, so I thought I could suggest Norwegianboy as a judge because he imo has an interesting and not mainstream taste in level-design, which would give some new perspective to the judging. Plus he did a good job in judging levels in the spring contest on his own.

As long as you crop it / make sure it doesn't distract from the quality of your world it should be fine.
