When I initially made this, I completely forgot about the name color, and focused on making a beautiful gradient matching with the background. It turned out to be amazing, so I'll be posting both versions.

lol i need to go on my super laggy laptop to use these. I usually post on Mobile. Hope I don't forget.

Ok now I want an avatar. My current avatar doesn't look so good but it's the best I can find. So for my avatar I want a Neutron Star as background, with lighting bolt strikes through the middle, and finally my name on the bottom and it should look like some sci-fi thingys with a main color of #081994 and a secondary color of #171721.

Wow, they look incredible! It captures all my favorite effects, and it just looks plain awesome. I've actually never had a personalized signature or avatar, so they mean even more to me

Here's ILikeTofuuJoe's avatar.

I could use the main color for the text fine, but after lots of experiments with background effects, I was simply unable to make the secondary color fit with the background, as it was way too dark to be even visible.
But I could add the rest of the effects in the best I could. I hope you like this one.

How do I use them?

You can change both your avatar and signature content in your profile settings page, in the Personality category.

To change your avatar, use the Upload avatar button (Change Avatar since you already have one), and upload the desired avatar.

To add an image in your signature, add the image link inside an img tag, in the signature content box below.

You'll first have to save the avatar image in your computer.

Then, as explained in the first reply, in your personality settings, click the Upload / Change avatar button.

You'll be taken to a form page where you can upload the image. Press the Choose File button and select your avatar image file from your computer. Then, press Upload.

Those who want animated avatars or signatures, are free to request them. I've recently worked with a lot of animated projects in the APNG format, which is amazing, and has a good browser compatibility.
