Wow only 3????? That's 21 in dog years... not long at all.
We fostered an older dog (about 14/15 human years). He had leg problems so we had to put him down so he would stop suffering. We kept his ashes.
To brighten up the story, when our ashes came, it was the WRONG DOG HAHAHahahhahaa..... maybe not so funny. We did get the right one though soon after so it's all good.
