I started off with electronic, especially "brostep" or "glitch hop", as it was what everyone else listened to in 2012.

One of my friends started bashing it, and pulled up Portugal. The Man. We've never heard this sort of music before, and we were waiting for the drop, but it was just lyrics and guitars.

Everyone else didn't react much, but I liked it, so I started listening to their songs. Thus was born my first encounter of Rock.

Ever so slowly, my playlist started to have less brostep and more rock music. I started to listen to "classic" electronic, such as Aphex Twin or Skream.

And from that, my playlist was 99% rock.

One of my songs was by Bonobo, and I loved it. I decided to do a bit of research. I found other musicians such as Tricky and Portishead. And that was what I called the "Trip Hop Era".

I listened to trip hop, downtempo, a bit of hip hop. My playlist flooded with those songs.

Then I discovered Tame Impala via towwl, and that is where I stand now; Psychedelic Rock.

Mostly EDM

Electro House, Chillstep, Tropical House, Future Bass, and Chill Trap are my favorite EDM genres

I still love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, classic rock is timeless
