Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

dying

Depends what you compare it to.
compared to 2011, it's dying. compared to 2013, it's probably growing.

Pretty neutral, games don't grow or die.
This is a false statement.

do you even look at your keyboard when you type?

I'd say neutral. We've hit the neutron star stage: almost nobody new comes, and nobody old leaves... But the current population is relatively small.

oh yeah moved to game discussion i guess

Well, if you're comparing EE to itself in an infinitely small period of time then EE is neutral, since there exists a single tangential point.

Ok it's pretty much pointless for us to discuss if ee is dying or growing, because staff has the real data they could share what's really happening to ee.

compared to the great summer vacation its obviously growing but overall its pretty neutral imo
well
the population is rather dying
while the content is growing

Really? I think its growing. While this growth may or may not just be recovery from the great summer vacation, it honestly doesn't matter as long as we are gaining players. Also, I think steam will help a lot.

Well... Growing.
By Summer there is sure to be a high lot of players.
and new (repeatable) worlds for example (can be played over 1 month or so).

It has grown after NVD taking ownership of the game, but I think it's been pretty neutral for a long time (in terms of player count).

Still always gotta point out EE is probably never going to reach the point it peaked at during 2011-2012. Multiplayer flash games generally don't last very long. Sure EE is a sandbox, but it is seemingly inevitable as new, more modern games slowly start to circulate and attract more players from older games, especially the case for flash games.
I do have to say, some games like Club Penguin (which seems to have a similar player community as EE) have lasted quite some time (note mostly from newer players coming in), and EE has lasted far longer than I would have imagined. Unfortunately, it seems EE's veteran population currently far outweighs number of newer players, which shows a line of testament to how long the game might last.
Also, to be honest, the game is dull and mundane. EE is so reliant on its community, and it is incredibly difficult for EE to bring up any updates that will make a big difference on the game without the community taking it on board to also try and make a big difference. While EE is currently in a healthy routine, I really don't see any future for EE beyond how large the game was at its peak.
Hopefully, I'm proved wrong, and I'm simply a pessimist, but from my perspective, I don't even have enough attention span to keep on playing over an hour of EE.
