On February 27th, Chris gave a speech at the Flash Gaming Summit (in the Fisher Room @3:00), called "How I Built a $10,000/month Flash Game In My Spare Time".
A recording can be found here and the slides are available here.
It's probably the best source for EE income figures.

EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
...but it's time for me to move on.

It's probably the best source for EE income figures.

Those figures are outdated at this point and also fail to include the part where pretty much all of the income goes towards keeping the servers alive. You can use these figures as a reference for how much bandwidth Everybody Edits was eating at that time.

RPG said there was some important business that Chris needed to take care of. We might here from him soon. He might still be working on the big update.

There is no "Big update" anymore, as RPG has said.

$2500/month gets 3TB, + $0.39 per additional GB (or $390 per additional TB...)*
*I'm using one thousand GB = 1 TB, not 2^10 GB = 1 TB, so pardon my math

Since the game is gaining in popularity, it's perfectly believable that server costs are eating up all the income.

Those quotes are per month, the figures chris gave were lifetime stats. Unless there were also 9million rooms running at the time of writing
