Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Working solo from now on.

This is mainly to avoid clutter on the Elite Team thread.

Although there are several factors [as to why working solo is better then being in a crew], I think the most important would be the freedom.

Do whatever you want, whenever you want.

Crews aren't really helping me in the creation of a room [the entire purpose], rather slowing me down.

/ask questions and discuss

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Re: Working solo from now on.

I prefer to work solo (sorry crew members) but I prefer to have small amounts of help for stuff that I can't do by myself like filling in a map or making something but I don't know how to make it so I ask somebody else to help.

I actually think "crews" are completely meaningless.

Why can't we all just show our own individuality? And when we need help ask for it?

The name. If a level has to letters in caps in front of it (such as EI) it will give a good impression. And combining talents may result in awesomeness.

Kinda agree, but making levels alone is boring. And also, each person in the crew makes what they can do best, resulting in a good level.

Re: Working solo from now on.

Well, I think we're confusing 'crews' and 'partners'

Getting help with something is fine, I suppose the title is halfway misleading.

It's working with 5+ people that's pointless.

I once had those thoughts, too, but there are times where one cannot fight alone.

Chimi: leading a crew and being in a crew aren't that different. The only difference is the ability to kick and recruit.

Re: Working solo from now on.

The benefits of working alone are that you can set your own goals, do whatever in the world, put all your ideas in, and take all the credit.
The only problems I can think of are some times you need help on things like art, or you just can't think of any mini ideas.

Re: Working solo from now on.

The time one spends organizing one's crew is compensated for by the time saved having more than one person working. We all have talents, but those talents might go unnoticed unless combined with the talents of others. Levels composed of solely art are boring. Levels with just challenges sand no theme get stale. Unless you are one of the few omnipotent level builders out there, you'll need to utilize others' skills to showcase your own. As for the "crews vs. asking-for-help" dilemma, asking for help is fine. But a crew is always there, and can be seen as a group of helpers. Plus, if you commonly call the same people/person for help, you might as well come up with a name for the combination of you and your helper(s).

Re: Working solo from now on.

I like being in MG crew because I make pretty good art but make horrible minis. So by being in a crew I can do my part while others who are good at minis can do their part. Plus it kinda keeps me motivated. I rarely finish my own levels.
