As a former meme-forcer, I can safely say that Onjit is more subtle about Bruce than you are about the Church of Egg. Onjit does not go and post stuff about Bruce where it is irrelevant—instead, he waits for the proper time to successfully meme.

Can the candidates please (re)state what they believe the most important issue facing players is, and what their solution would be if they were elected? People should be able to see this if they haven't without having to sift through 13 pages of mostly irrelevant posts.

Sure. Flash, the multimedia platform used by the game, is slowly dying.
It has security and performance problems, and isn't suitable for mobile devices.
The game needs to move away from Flash or it too will slowly die.
Therefore the most important issue facing players is: (how to) move away from Flash.
and what their solution would be if they were elected?
The game's developers are already working on a non-Flash version of the game.
Whenever possible they should ignore the current Flash version, and work on the non-Flash version.
Does the Flash version require any changes to keep current players happy for the foreseeable future?
Yes, our "Daily Challenges" party suggests one 'final' investment in the Flash version.
Daily challenges. These should be effective at combating this vicious circle.
It'll make players play daily/more, it'll give good rooms (and their authors) the attention they deserve, it'll make it more worthwhile to invest time into creating new rooms.
You can read through the party's intro post for more information.
Technically it's not difficult to implement the daily challenges.
The game needs one database spot that can hold the current daily room (e.g. "PWImcpqtcabEI"), the room in that spot should be listed above all other rooms in-game, the database table with user information needs one extra column to keep track of the number of daily rooms each player has finished, and the player profiles should show this number.
A handful of player-volunteers can pick these daily rooms in consultation with the community, so it's not a burden for the staff.
This will give players incentive to return and play daily.
Good levels get more attention, thus it's more rewarding to create more and better rooms.
We would be attacking aforementioned vicious circle.
And the game's developers can work on the non-Flash version full-time.
Everybody Wins.
People should be able to see this if they haven't without having to sift through 13 pages of mostly irrelevant posts.

I have permanently left the game and forum.
EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
