Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I've not been able to find your topic or post where you suggested the infinite seconds timer. Anyways, while this idea is suggested more times, it will have more changes to be added.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it: Increase curse/zombie time limit cap to 999

Re: Curse effect improvement suggestions (Time extension, Race Mode, etc)

I am reviving this topic because this is a very important feature needed in game (at least for me). Since coin doors/gates and portals limits were raised to 999, why not do the same for the curse, at least to 99?

I've just found out after some experiments that 60 seconds would be simply insufficient for the next world I want to make: The Tower 4. And no, checkpoints would completely ruin the objective of the world.

For now, you could put a health, disable health, curse again.

I know that the only alternative we have for now, but that would completely ruin the game-play. It must be a single run.

Here is how my worlds are supposed to work: Paste

There aren't supposed to be any types of during-play systems to check your location to continue with the game and simulate a 90 second run.

Obviously 999 seconds for zombie is too much - but if the owner chooses it, then it's their own fault.

Yea at least 99 seconds will work. Curse being 60 seconds dosen't work out sometimes. Infinity zombie time will work because you can do a survival so the zombies just don't explode all the time and have to move slow back to where they were

Zombie explosion can be fixed easily just put a boost path that makes them human then zombify them again simple life reset same can be done for curse although it might be a bit awkward in some situations

so imagine giving 200 seconds to do a thing. currently, you need to put a bunch of curse (or zombie) refreshers, which means doing a previous part faster doesn't help at all with a later part, unlike just a longer timer.

Game Suggestion revamped!

Please read the initial post for what the race mode (a curse replacement) would be on the game.

On the original suggestion, I stated to increase the curse time limit to 999 seconds. My image was just an example of the race mode itself.

For races why not have MM:SS- rather than seconds up to 999?

Yeah, I had a similar idea, the Speedrun effect. It would have the same shape as other effects (circle with corners, with an icon in the middle), it would be gray, and the icon would be a clock. It would count your time in the top left corner, like a timer. there can be doors/gates that you can only activate when you have X time, and anti-timer blocks that tell you the time that you got to when you touch them with a system message that only you can see

That would apply if the race effect has more than 100 seconds, so it could show 2:00 instead of 120.

On the race effect bar where you set up the time, there can be a checkbox that you can tick off to work with minutes and seconds, instead of just seconds.

Why not more than 60 seconds?

Also 999 seconds as a limit seems like enough (16:39)

You can change that by ticking off the MM:SS / SS checkbox I specified when you set up the time for the race effect.

You didn't specify anything about MM:SS / SS options in the OP

Topic revamped!

Each suggestion now has it's own spoiler, so users can read each one easily.
Also, I've added 2 minor, but probably useful suggestions (you can check them at OP)

  • Show curse while spectating

  • Control of curse limit

curse show: players would know tht zombie will die soon if they dont know they get shocked for a sec then escape altho probs a minute issue
Curse limit: Many worlds have it via switches altho for newb builders would be nc
Instead of it being shaped like a block why not a flag? the race powerup thing since it made my eyes stab themselves it just doesn't go well with ees current blocks and carnival packs checker will confuse ppl

Re: Curse effect improvement suggestions (Time extension, Race Mode, etc)

I am once again reviving this suggestion pack as a friendly reminder that a time limit extension for curse (and zombie) has already been suggested.

We need these features in game.
