Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Sometimes I want to be using two types of blocks at the same time, such as wood and stone.
How this would work is you would type in the block search bar something like this:
WOOD
and as expected, the all of the wood blocks would appear. But then I add
WOOD +
and I cannot add to the first part of my search, so there is less buggy stuff going on. Finally I add
WOOD + STONE
and the results for stone are added to my search.
And then I decide I need dirt as well, so I add
WOOD + STONE + DIRT
and the results for dirt are added.
tl;dr we need more nuanced searching

We had an internal discussion about this when initially implementing the search function, but we went with the narrowing down rather than expanding search range. If you do the expanding search type, an overwhelming amount of items aren't filtered out when looking for something, making it very cluttered and hard to use. So unfortunately it's not an option, you can't have broad and specific searching at the same time.

Doesn't this work like the Custum Tab Idea? It's very similar: basically creating your own personal lists of blocks, only custum tab seems even more... customizable, than your suggestion.
